Losing Horton was a huge hit for them. He was easily their best starter in the 2nd half. Boyd was fading due to him not pitching a whole lot of innings in recent years and Imanaga was mid all year. Taillon is probably their best starter right now.
They were trying to get Counsell to bench Busch. It worked for getting the leadoff guy out, but the rest did not. You look clever if it works, but incredibly stupid if it doesn't.
Yankees getting dominated on both sides of the ball is poetic. The Jays' biggest weakness is their bullpen and it looks like the Yankees won't even test that the first 2 games.
If I'm Oklahoma or Mateer I wouldn't bother risking it. Texas is not a good team. The offensive line is a mess. Arch is not even an average college QB. The defense is overrated and they got manhandled by a mediocre Florida offense today.
