  1. Unless there is a move where they can flip Sexton and Simons somewhere for a productive player or 1st round picks, this is literally just reshuffling the cards they already had.
  2. Dieng and Sexton are expiring. I'll have to see how good the 3 2nds are. I guess in aggregate, maybe they're like a 1st round pick?
  3. If it's DFS, there better be a first round pick attached.
  4. Unless the Bulls can get Giannis without giving up Giddey and Matas, it doesn't make a lot of sense to try and get him. The only thing this team has going for it is that they own all their picks (+ Portland's lottery protected pick) and they have a ton of cap space this off-season. But if you trade the draft capital and any semblance of talent the team currently has, it leaves you with just cap space (minus Giannis' max contract) to fill out a roster that needs to win in the next few years. The timeline isn't great and Giannis wouldn't have a much better chance to win here than he already does in Milwaukee.
  5. Don't give me hope man
  6. Not that I really care how the rest of the season goes...but the only big man healthy on the team right now is Jalen Smith and he's more of a PF than a center.
  7. They gave up one to get rid of Vuc lol
  8. They'll have to pay him to keep him. I'm not sure he's much of an upgrade over Coby. Similar types of players.
  9. Simons is also an expiring. At least they're making moves. Vuc should have been off the team 2 seasons ago.
  10. They gotta trade Coby White now. Ivey will be an RFA this off-season, so they would need to pay him to keep him. With him coming off the broken leg and knee injuries, it'll be interesting to see how he recovers.
  11. I think Dart is better than Trubisky, but I also can't stop seeing the similarities.
  12. Getting nothing for Coby is malpractice.
  13. How are they not going to trade Coby White? It's just baffling.
  14. So the Bears get screwed in all of this because the Falcons decided to create a position out of thin air less than a month ago and gave it to a guy with no front office experience. He's even said he won't be managing personnel. What's to stop the Bears from creating random positions above the general manager, promoting Poles to it, and then poaching some assistant GM from the Packers or Lions to be the new GM? It would technically be a promotion and we wouldn't be giving our rivals any picks. It's a terrible loop hole and a bad precedent to set. It totally goes against the spirit of the rule in the first place.
  15. Dude is still getting blackballed
  16. I think the sentiment at the time, especially after their 2 straight losses to end the year, was that Darnold was just not good enough in big games and reverted to his old self when put under pressure. And that rang true even this year until their playoff games. That win against the Rams in the last few weeks of the season turned around Darnold's season. I don't know if they were necessarily wrong to give the keys to McCarthy. If they really believed in the guy, they weren't gonna let him just sit under Darnold for multiple years. They did offer to keep Darnold on a short term deal at around the same AAV that the Seahawks offered him. But if you're Darnold, why would you stay for less guaranteed money and have a guy behind you constantly threatening your job? Obviously, it didn't work out for the Vikings. But I think their issue was more that they didn't have a true backup plan to McCarthy going to s%*# or getting hurt. Carson Wentz is not a viable backup to a guy who didn't play a lot of snaps in college and is coming off a knee injury.
  17. To be fair, they didn't know that Darnold was gonna do that last year when they drafted McCarthy.
  18. The AFC in a nutshell
  19. Wagler really helped his NBA draft stock. 46 points against a team like Purdue is insane.
  20. This is definitely better than praying someone can get 3 outs in the 9th. If he doesn't work out at closer, you can always go back to Taylor. I think Dominguez works best as a setup guy, but I'm just glad the Sox actually spent some money on fixing the bullpen with this and the Newcomb signings.
  21. Gore only has 2 years of control left. They probably don't think they can start competing again in that time frame.
  22. One of them might be. The other guy is in A ball.
  23. Because they would have had to pay him $2 million if they didn't pick it up. With this, you pay nothing and you get a couple of bad lottery tickets back.
  24. TWTW off the charts
  25. I actually had Luisangel on my fantasy team at the end of 2024. He was legit good for like 2 weeks.
