That's the one stat I've always hated in baseball. A pitcher getting the blown save, then the win if their team pulls it out. Always felt they should get the blown save and the previous pitcher of record should get the W. But it is what it is.

It was awful when they brought him in and it is somehow 10000000 times worse than any of us could have ever imagined. If Vaughn can't stick in LF, then what? Say he is what everyone assumes he is going to be, who do you get rid of? Eloy is very obviously a DH only. Actually playing the game of baseball isn't for him. You'd have to get rid of Jose for next year, right? How do you keep all three of those guys? Honestly don't see how you can. Obviously the thought was hide Eloy in LF for a couple years and the problem works itself out. But that clearly can't be done anymore.

To this day, when he got punched in the dick and Hawks reaction to it is one of the most hilarious things I have ever seen watching baseball. Hawk was crying in the booth and they kept replaying the hit over and over. It was amazing.

This is super interesting to hear.
