So I am going to be the bad guy here. I hate that if I decide to go to games in September, Paul Konerko might be playing. I was adamantly against PK coming back this year and I've been proven right on that. He's terrible. I'd much rather Dunn be in the lineup, even if a LHP is throwing. At least Dunn might hit a HR. Also, even if Dunn is gone there are other guys much more deserving of the plate appearances. Andy Wilkins, Viciedo, Michael Taylor, and Avi Garcia should be getting the at-bats in September. For as good of a player as Paul Konerko has been in his White Sox career, I was never one to go to the games just because he was playing. Frank Thomas? Absolutely. Not for Konerko though. At least it's football season.

I love the people that say that if the Sox had a better bullpen they'd be contending. It's not just the bullpen. 2/5 of the starting rotation is comprised of Scott Carroll and Hector Noesi. Alejandro De Aza, Gordon Beckham, and Dayan Viciedo have gotten significant at bats. Paul Konerko is on the f***ing team. Those are other reasons why this team isn't very good. What more should Rick have done for the bullpen? This thread is madness.

I'd actually like to see Michael Taylor with the big league club as well.

The Cubs claimed Hamels for the slight chance that Philly just gives them the contract in my opinion. Probably not going to happen but it's worth a shot. The Cubs will not be giving up top 10 prospects in the org in my opinion though in order to pay Hamels $100 million. They'll pay him the $$. They aren't going to give prospects and pay the $$ though. So Hamels will not be a Cub. Ruben Amaro is the worst GM in baseball though.

Rondon is in the perfect spot. You also need to not scout the stat line at times and weigh production against skills and promise. Adolfo can be a superstar therefore he is ranked where he is. Davidson is having a terrible year but will still end the year with 20+ homers at 3B with a good BB%. Spencer Adams and Francellis Montas both project as front of the rotation starters (#2 probably). If the Sox were picking in the 20's this year and took Adams in round 1, he'd be a top 5 prospect in the system, therefore he still should be. I am a fan of Danish and Michalczewski as well. Overall, I think the list was very fair and well done.

Rodon's stuff looks sensational in the little bit I have seen so far. He also looks like a badass on the mound. He strikes guys out and just stares them down at times it seems. It can turn some people off but he's going to be so fun to have in the organization. Does anyone think Pedro Alvarez could be had in the offseason? He has struggled at 3B recently because he has basically forgotten how to throw and he can't get past it. I'd love Alvarez as the full-time DH.
