Would you do everything the same as your boss if you were promoted? I’ve got nothing. I’d heard that Baltimore circled back when Bradish got hurt. Not sure on likelihood. Some still think Cease moves. I personally think deadline is more likely now. Sox really expected Snell and Montgomery to be signed by now

Sox looking at building in South Loop
It’ll still happen. People are being so dramatic about this.

Why would you think otherwise right now though? Fletcher will be in RF against RHP and Pillar will be on the team. Why would Sheets play over those guys? Also, would you ever play him over Eloy Jimenez or Andrew Vaughn against RHP? I just don't see a spot for him.

You think this matters much more than I do. I think spring training is mostly meaningless as a predictor of any future success. I don't really see the difference in getting playing time in big league camp over minor league camp. I'd DFA Sheets because I don't think he's any good but i'd be really surprised if he plays the outfield under this GM.

The prospects won’t be in big league camp very long

Do you think Njigba is better than Fletcher? If he’s not, when would he actually play? Is he better than Zach DeLoach? They have an infield crunch for sure. I don’t think Shewmake is good but I doubt the Sox want to lose Sosa or Rodriguez for nothing at this point.

Sox looking at building in South Loop
Couple thoughts. This obviously idealistic but if that money doesn’t go towards a stadium, it wouldnt get spent on the public good instead. It’s just a real world fact unfortunately. Also, Bears are still going to Arlington Heights. I’d be shocked by any other outcome.

This is crazy. We need to see Gonzalez play this year before making any sort of declaration like this. Smith-Njigba isn’t really a great fit as a LHH OF. Sox have a 40-man crunch already. Again, Sox have a real 40-man crunch.

Nah he’ll be in the 20’s. Could rise but Sox system is solid right now

Cease To Padres per Passan
Levine is on 670 right now. It sounds like VERY informed speculation after being at White Sox camp today. He said that talks with Baltimore are expected.
-
Cease To Padres per Passan
Orioles circled back on Cease the other day apparently. No idea if it’ll be them but I’ve talked to people who still think he moves.

Cease To Padres per Passan
..........................I disagree.

Sox Sign Mike Moustakas
Not sure how they could. Bench is seemingly: Moustakas, Pillar, Stassi and Mendick

Sox Sign Mike Moustakas
He was better than Gavin Sheets last year.

FutureSox: Mock Draft 1.0
I put together a way-too-early 2024 Mock Draft for FutureSox and included four picks for the White Sox. Here you go: https://www.futuresox.net/2024/02/13/2024-mlb-mock-draft-1-0/

FutureSox: International Signing Preview
Okay the Sox have announced: Eduardo Herrera, Jesus Premoli, Orlando Suarez, Alexandre Valdiviezo and Jhoangel Suarez from Venezuela and Jurdrick Profar and Jeziel Boekhoudt from Curacao. Baseball America has them with Manuel Rumbos and Juan Berroteran from Venezuela as well. I'd heard they have 5-6 DR signings as well.
