    If it's a package including Madrigal, Corbin Burnes is my guess. The White Sox have always loved him. I'd do Madrigal, Stiever and Heuer for Burnes in a heartbeat. I'd be interested in Musgrove as well but not for that package.

    They’ve seen him a bunch physically in last year. He made it clear that from a baseball standpoint, he’s not far away. He needs to assimilate culturally though and learn how to play every day. The grind is a bigger issue. I’d bet he goes to Winston-Salem

    Not sure. He’s the type of profile Dipoto likes. Not sure. I know Heuer has been discussed in talks in general. I’m not really sure what exactly it’d be. Just threw a package out there. Gonzales is really good and cheap

    Marco Gonzales likely costs Madrigal and two other pieces in a deal. It’s a great contract.

    The Codify stuff is real. Hendriks loves the company and attributes much of his success to them. Not sure how much the White Sox want it out there but they're probably the most Codify friendly team in the sport currently. Yasmani Grandal and Lucas Giolito love it. Keuchel uses it now too and McCann will likely turn the Mets onto it. It's a big deal to Hendriks. Hopefully it helps.

    It doesn’t make sense. Players aren’t accepting 140 games unless they get paid for 162. The owners have no leg to stand on. The only way spring training gets delayed is if local governments in AZ and FL shut down spring training and that seems very unlikely.

    The Sale plan doesn’t make sense for him because he has no innings base. If they think he’s a starter, he should be starting. If he’s in the big league bullpen all year, I’d bet that he’s never a starter. He needs innings. I doubt he gets 100 pitching out of big league bullpen.

    I honestly don’t think spring training gets delayed. The owners want to because they don’t want to pay players salaries without fans. They really have no leg to stand on. Unless the federal government or local governments in Arizona and Florida don’t allow spring training, it’ll start on time. Evan Drellich of The Athletic just wrote about it. All this means is, big league guys, NRI and AAA guys will be at ST. AA and under comes in after they depart and season starts late and runs into October. Small town USA will absolutely have fans in the stands. None of these businesses will survive otherwise.

    I think every team now sees the benefits of an alternate site type thing. The only issue would be having enough staff. I’ll be curious to see what the org does with the Great Falls staff

    100%. Tony has been active, vocal and recruiting like crazy. He’s a big reason why coaching staff is so solid, Lynn is here and he’ll be a big reason why Hendriks is here if they sign him too.
