Michael Kopech gave up a year of service. He’s under team control for 5 seasons. The White Sox could manipulate that further and make it so its 2021 and 5 more seasons but it’s quite a bit of time and I don’t want to do the math. I think Kopech starts in minors but we see him pretty quickly.

I don’t see any way Kopech is still in the minors on June 1. Most realistic best case scenario is Kopech and Cease are in the rotation by then. This is the reason why the team isn’t giving $10 million plus to a 4th starter.

Bauer has a great relationship with Derek Falvey from his Cleveland days. With that being said, seems like Mets are all in on Bauer

I heard that they love Heuer and that they don't think Hiura can play 2B. I'm with you though. I don't think Madrigal is good enough to headline and the Sox aren't trading anyone better than him.

Maybe Nick Madrigal has more value than we think
