  1. QUOTE (Alexeihyeess @ May 31, 2016 -> 11:37 PM) Zangari is 0-7 with 4 K's He should probably go down to Great Falls in a few weeks if he doesn't figure s*** out soon. It's one thing to struggle a new level, it's another thing to be completed overmatched which is what his 41% K rate suggests.
  2. QUOTE (Vance Law @ Jun 1, 2016 -> 12:14 AM) Ugghhh. Tooo many meatheadddssss!!!!! Hey look, Vance Law is back to calling the board meatheads for not agreeing with illogical decision-making. Keep fighting the good fight bro, Robin definitely needs you during these trying times.
  3. QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ May 31, 2016 -> 10:32 PM) Saladino is still a 0 WAR player so i still consider that one spot where we could improve if there are bargain bin guys available He won't be after tonight, his wRC+ is now 107 while being a positive defender and base runner.
  4. Robin confirmed that Rollins is still starting tomorrow.
  5. Huge f***ing win! I got home from work when the score was 0-4 and I was certain this game would be a lost cause. But this team battled and proved me wrong. Big props to Saladino for refusing to quit and providing some much needed heart to a deflated lineup.
  6. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 31, 2016 -> 09:11 PM) Really nice to have Yo at the plate with nobody on. 100% this.
  7. Alright Robertson, no walks please.
  8. Nice quick out, two more to go Nate.
  9. I will say this, it's pretty remarkable we're above .500 two months in when Abreu has been worth -0.5 WAR.
  10. Come on Jose! Get us one more run!
  11. Saladino now has a 107 wRC+ despite BB% & K% decently worse than his recent minor league averages.
  12. QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ May 31, 2016 -> 08:29 PM) Saladino will need to jack one for us to win this game. We're going to win!?!?!?!
  13. That was the pitch to hit...f***.
  14. Saladino will need to jack one for us to win this game.
  15. I can't believe it even took that long to reverse it.
  16. QUOTE (Tex @ May 31, 2016 -> 01:05 PM) You don't have to have a manager. Just have a laptop in the dugout and follow the stats. GMAFB. Baseball is an incredibly mental game and a manager's influence goes beyond their in-game decision-making. How about Robin provides some leadership and gets this team to stop pressing? Teams rarely go into multi-week funks after one tough loss, but he we are still losing day after day. If Robin can't right this ship, then it's time to see if Renteria can. Also, name one private-sector occupation where the complete failure of a team doesn't cost the manager his job? Why is it in baseball that many fail to hold the manager accountable and say "blame the players". When an entire team underperforms, the manager must be held responsible too. I'm just shocked that there are this many people willing to give Robin a free pass at this point.
  17. Great stuff as usual raBBit! Was hoping it was mechanical changes driving his performance after reading your interview with Buddy Bell and it sounds like that may in fact be the case.
  18. Stop the bleeding! Please stop the bleeding!
  19. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ May 31, 2016 -> 01:25 AM) Move them out of state where there is no MLB. Create a new fan base. People will tolerate a relocated losing organization. Plus more TV revenue. There is absolutely no market that offers more upside than a split Chicago. Montreal is probably the closest thing and MLB will likely be adding a team there anyways when they expand to 32 teams in the not too distant future. I'm not sure where this idea comes from that our franchise would be better off moving, but the notion is pure garbage.
  20. QUOTE (SpankyEaton @ May 30, 2016 -> 08:09 PM) I guess we will have to wait until the end of the year to see the changes. I would love to see Renteria get a chance now but I don't think that's going to solve anything. Kenny Williams getting fired and JR selling the team would help, but I honestly think the Sox will move in the next ten years. I went to the Cubs game today because of my fiancé and can't see the Sox competing and staying afloat financially even though deep down I hope they do and get families to the park since that's where I think they can compete with the Cubs. Do you guys think we need to worry about a move? No, not at all.
