Which is why we need to cheer for the record. I hate rooting against my team, but let Jerry & Getz reap what they sow with this. The national media is finally going after these clowns with full force and at some point Jerry has to take the earmuffs off and realize he’s single-handily destroyed this franchise and must step aside one way or the other. It’s very possible, even likely, that the Sox will never be competitive again in Jerry’s lifetime with the damage he’s done. And why I think he gives two fucks about us fans, he’s also costing his heirs a ton of money by turning this franchise into the second biggest joke in sports behind the A’s. Might as well keep losing at historically bad levels until he’s willing to acknowledge he’s the problem.

It’s absolutely wild that we’ve gotten to this point and they still haven’t made a change at manager. I fully get the team sucks a fat you know what, but this s%*# is demoralizing to the players and a kick in the balls to the fans. There is no good whatsoever to keep trotting Grifol out there. Just make a change you stubborn fucks.

Yup, I want Getz’s resume tarnished with this. Hope Bush pitches well and the s%*#-show of a bullpen blows it.

Yeah, my kid just follows players now and cheer for their teams. The Bulls don’t mean much to him. But Jerry is also gutting that franchise as well.

Yeah it sucks. I don’t know how you even attempt to pitch this team to young fans. Kids like stars (my 10 year old is all into the NBA for this reason) and we won’t have any once Crochet & Robert are gone. And some overpriced novelty milkshakes won’t make up for that. It’s just wild how Jerry Reinsdorf can be a billionaire and have such poor business acumen. The relevance of this franchise is rapidly fading into oblivion due to one old man’s stubborn ways.

Yup, I’ve given up any hope of my kids ever becoming Sox fans given the dire outlook ahead, so might as well be historically bad and embarrass the s%*# out of Jerry.

I think they already have a space booked…doubt they can cancel at this point. That being said, perhaps they avoid doing any Q&A which would be a first.

Probably part of the reason he still gets playing time, but Sheets is no longer hitting RHP…he’s not even a platoon bat at this point. Him and Vaughn at -0.8 and -0.6 fWAR and still out there most days should be a fireable offense for Getz. How is there not some AAAA bat you could roll the dice instead? f***, I’d rather see Mark Payton’s 32 year old ass out there. I just don’t even get the strategy of wasting endless playing time on two dudes who have proven they aren’t major leaguers.

Vaughn and Sheets should both be gone. At this point they are zero dimensional players as they have proven they can’t hit major league pitching. The easiest path to improving the lineup is having actual hitters at 1B / DH.

I don’t think it’s Jerry as we have traded in the division before and we just traded DeJong to the Royals. This reeks of Getz thinking he can win a “weak” AL Central in 2025 with a couple moves and some added youth.

I don’t see why his market would be that much better in the offseason though. I think you got to hold until the next deadline.

Bob confirmed we were never going to trade Fedde within the division unless completely overwhelmed. Getz is simply not a competent decision maker and we are not a serious franchise.

Nastrini just missed BA’s Top 100 to start the season and his been horrible since. Eder wasn’t very good last year.

Getz took a 100 loss team and somehow made it the worst in modern baseball history. Any semi-conscious owner would fire this clown at the end of the season, but alas this is just year one of a 10 journey with Getzy assuming Jerry lives that long.
