But the dude is one of the best framers in the game and one of the best offensive catchers and most certainly not a DH or bad catcher like Jack is saying.

Yes I fucking do. It also happens that the one game you’re referring was started by a veteran, pitchability guy rather than young hurlers. I’m as frustrated as anyone by the start of the season for this pitching staff, but there are zero conclusions to be gained 3 1/2 games into the season.

I was 100% being sarcastic and if you actually think Grandal is a DH then you completely lack baseball acumen.

We also needed a left-handed bat OBP, Grandal was literally the perfect addition.

And guess how you help your starting pitching that was hurt by poor framing probably moreso than any team in baseball last year? By adding an elite framer...

But what’s his CERA after three games and a short pre-season? Clearly Grandal’s game calling is the reason everyone sucks but Keuchel.

Unfortunately we added no OF depth this offseason.
