I missed the second half of game two, but this team doesn't deserve to be a playoff team. I still think they'll get hot at some point, but the measure for error is shrinking by the day and I still don't see a sense of urgency from the coaching staff or players.

And what happens when one of these five guys go down with an injury? By default, a smart organization should have six starters ready to go. If we’re serious about competing next year, then Stiever shouldn’t be any higher than 7th on the depth chart.

Bauer makes a ton of sense on a one year deal as it allows Cease & Kopech another year of development in the back of the rotation and allows for Dunning to be your swingman.
