You know how my theory for the TLR hire is that quite simply the guy they want to lead this decade of Sox baseball wasn’t/isn’t available yet. So hire TLR as a little placeholder. But maybe the end game of this plan is to have TLR vacate the seat by June and Ozzie is forced to step in. The rest is history.

I’d kinda like to hear Hawk call a few guest games with this team, maybe down the stretch when Eloy and Robert are back. He’d immediately be talking about how this collection of talent is unrivaled in the history of the game. Finally his hyperbole would be accurate ?

Lol that’s always the best part of the boards. When one of us used advanced stats as like an “Aha Gotcha” at our FO or coaching staff. Forgetting the team spends millions of dollars a year on people sifting through data we have no idea even exists. ?

I’m really happy about the double division sweep. I know there’s a lot of nervous-type guys on here who live and die in the micro, unable see or trust in the macro. If nothing else, I hope this alleviates some concerns and let’s you start enjoying the team more, or at least not freak out during the losses. This is what a few of us have been preaching since the first blown save and TLR bad decision. Two words: Be Cool This team is absolutely effing loaded and everybody should be slurping the FO for giving us this 10-year present. Go Sox!

Yes! Dude we have one of the best players in baseball at like EVERY POSITION, 1-29 (I hadn’t though about adding 27-29. Nice work!) And our payroll is under $150M or whatever ???? Nothing like this has ever been close to being assembled in the history of the game. We are on the verge of witnessing the greatest collection of talent...ever.
