I could agree to strict platoon DH, no fielding ever, no lefties ever. He’s completely useless at fielding and hitting lefties. But is his contract cheap enough for that 1 dimension. I dunno.

Exactly. You trade a Dunning because he’s super old for a prospect, has severe innings limits and had no realistic chance of really contributing to this team or next year’s. Those young pitchers are our gold storage so we don’t become the cubs.

Yes. I think Engel will be playing every day once he ramps back up more. I’m sure they have scheduled rest for him built in. Pretty sure it’s clear to our coaching staff and FO he’s the best OF available on the roster now, ahead of Goodwin Hamilton and Eaton.
