I don’t think you can ever dismiss the possibility of the Sox adding a shitty, aging slugger

I’ve had this sneaking suspicion the last few months that Micker is super close to being ready if not ready. But that’s based on hope and sneaking suspicion...which means jack. But that would be super cool if Micker could rock it and then take over for Eaton next year

Those were some of my favorite rosters and early in my fandom. I started really getting into it in like 1997. I don’t think that system was even close to this current one, especially finished top-end talents. We all know the names. I just think these current guys could turn into legit all stars at like almost every single position on the field. And that’s not even chugging the koolaid. Sipping for sure- chugging, surprisingly not. Agree?

Yes he understands the whole concept of being in the batter’s box at a higher level than the average big leaguer. That’s just a fact.

I think the newer MO of the FO is to pounce on everything they can early to lock in some cost certainty. Even if they pay a few extra bucks.

Totally agree. Like look at your offense bro. Yes Dane was a subpar prospect with zero track record. And obviously there was no reason to have any faith in him whatsoever. But still, let the kid try to get through 4 with 4 runs given up or something. It was so dumb
