Why not? Because Rogers Centre was empty the other day? So were a lot of other stadiums. I actually like the Blue Jays much better than anyone else in the AL East. And I really like Cito Gaston. I wanted him to manage the Sox when Manuel got fired... He was actually the front runner before Ozwald came along, wasn't he? The more I hear from cowley, the less I want to. I don't think I'm very good at letting people know that most of my posts are filled with sarcasm. I don't really think that it's time to blow the thing up, but I am starting to get really really REALLY worried. It's amazing how your feelings about a team and the people who run it can change when they're losing - especially when the team has been hyped as being a possible contender. I'm starting to notice and (sadly) agree with a lot of derogatory things said about Ozzie Guillen. Man I hope they turn this thing around. The season is so boring when they suck.

Fact or Fiction: *Beckham hits over 290 on the season FACT - I think he's the real deal *Peavy wins 15 games FACT - IF we can score some freaking runs for him *Jenks finishes the season as closer FICTION - He'll be part of a deal *Quentin Hits 30 home runs FACT - CQ will figure it out and get scorching hot *Scott Linebrink will be on the roster come august FICTION - He'll be part of a deal too * Freddy Garcia will be the 5th starter come July FICTION - FG will probably wear down or teams will figure out his 80mph junk * KW will make a major trade mid-season (A-Gone type of deal) FACT - KW HATES to lose and I believe JR does too * White Sox make the playoffs FACT - Good God I hope so, but if not, I think they make moves and destroy the AL Central in 2011

Now it's starting to get to the point where we should be think about contingency plans. What could we get for Peavy and Rios? Let's blow it up and upgrade the farm.

Most of the time I'll actually root for the Cubs (except when they're playing the Sox), but I CAN'T STAND Cub fans or the giant toilet also known as Wrigley Field. I go to a lot of games at the Cell. Once I had an off day while the Sox were out of town and was jonesin for some baseball, so I decided to venture out to the northside. NEVER AGAIN!! That place is a certified dump, it smells like pee, it's old and ragged - falling apart, and the "scoreboard" sucks. And way too many Cub fans are drunk, obnoxious and rude. And they have the nerve to talk about USCF. You could put USCF in the middle of Hell, and it would still be better than going to Wrigley. This guy I know has never been to Wrigley, but goes to Sox games at USCF all the time. He just got some free Cubs tickets and he's taking his kids. He has no idea. I can't wait to hear what he has to say when he gets back. Oh and regarding my comment earlier about going to a game at USCF if it was in Hell... well don't bother taking a jacket with you - it'll still be nice and hot because the Cubs aren't winning any World Series anytime soon.

Rios was money too. Ozzie said that we should boo Rios at the Cell and maybe he'll hit like he did in Toronto..
