For years the White Sox have been the last stop for players who are about to retire. It’s really embarrassing to be the last option to stay in the league.

Stone is a Jerry Reinsdorf fan. I’d be interested in seeing how much of a White Sox fan he’ll continue being once JR is gone.

Why is this organization so infatuated with the Royals??

It should be embarrassing to be the team players consider to be the last stop before they are out of the league.

Especially if it was Grandal because he sucked. He could have been released without hurting the team much.

No player worth anything wants to sign with this organization when it’s been in such disarray over the past few seasons. The Sox can only sign players who don’t have a lot of options to play elsewhere.

I honestly don’t think there was ever a serious chance that JR would have signed Machado or Harper. No way in hell he’ll ever give a player that much money. It was all a pipe dream.

Leave Grady Sizemore there. They’re not competing until JR croaks so you might as well let Sizemore gain some experience.

I bet JR didn’t really care about the scandal. He was hell bent on hiring his old buddy to reap the benefits of Rick Renteria’s hard work. Rick worked through the rebuild and got the boys ready for the playoffs so he should have been allowed to finish the job. TLR wouldn’t manage a rebuilding team.

He’ll he 120 years old by the time they’re competitive again.

I love that they’re going to break the record at home. I hope the handful of fans there celebrate loudly after the final out.

If you’re a big leaguer with talent, why on earth would you sign with this dysfunctional organization? Players with talent want to win and this team ain’t winning anything for the foreseeable future.

I’m going to laugh my ass off when Skip Schumacher shuns the White Sox and takes another managerial job. Why would he want to be a part of this mess if he has options?
