One of the more realistic trade pieces they have in my opinion to fix holes may just be Liam Hendriks. Frees up cash and yes you would have to find a closer but potentially have one in Reylo already versus having to replace a SP like Cease
Sure they did….finishing in 2nd place really hurt JRs pocketbook and expectations…. ?
As much as they want you to believe Grifol is the savior “communication and accountability” is only going to get you so far. Eventually the holes you continue to not fill will once again rear their ugly head….
Don’t think Hahn was lying about anything. He’s been pretty blunt about not being able to throw money at the problem or exploring trades versus free agents to fix the team. JR once again handcuffing the GM by not going all in. NOW is exactly when you throw all of your chips on the table and they won’t do it
Gotta pocket that 8 mil saved from Pollock….I’m sure they will say there will be money at the trade deadline if needed to improve the team or some s%*# like that
I would despise seeing him in Cleveland. Hopefully wherever it is becomes someone we don’t play very often as you know he would end up mashing against our pitching….
Huge mistake to trade Robert or Jimenez, both can put it together. Vaughn I’m fine with staying or sending him out depending on what you can get for ….Moncada if you can unload him at this point would be my play if I’m the Sox. No one is taking on Grandal with his contract.
Because that is what we do, instead of just signing someone to fix the hole we need, we try to trade the little assets we have for them because Jerry doesn’t want to write the big check
Bellinger? I’m sure the Sox will try and kick the tires on him…
Think the Brewers might take a trade offer for Yelich?
Both of those scream White Sox moves
