Meh…….flush it….

Meh, don’t care either way that Benetti is gone as long as it’s not Gordon Beckham replacing him full time.

Grifol is the biggest “yes” man I’ve ever seen in a manager. So of course if the GM says he doesn’t like the team he is going to agree. Would feel 1000 percent better with this organization if he was part of the ongoing Getz gutting that is taking place.

If you ask Sox management they believe that too

Not even in this weak AL Central as they like to constantly claim they are apart of. Brooks Boyer motto for the White Sox 2024 season should be: 2024…Flush it

The TA lovers are losing their minds on twitter. Maybe they bring him back to play 2B at a lower cost. Either way as much as anyone wants to claim he was not very good at short stop and his bat took a dip (injury related or not it doesn’t matter). Find someone who is at least good defensively at SS till you make a decision on when and where you put Montgomery when he comes up (hopefully in 2025)

He’d be a terrible addition but a typical Whitesoxy / TLR move

I think most of the additions will be very frustrating as I believe they are punting on 2024 knowing they have no shot right now but will try to appease Sox fans and Jerry by signing 1-2 year stop gap veterans to plug their holes on the cheap until they get some talent back on the roster

The team is not going to be good. They are going into a season with a rotation of Cease, Kopech (for now) Scholtens and Touki. It doesn’t matter who your SS and 2B are at this point

I see them signing some cheap defensive short stop like Isiah Kiner-Falefa. Someone who will be cheap but can be a stop gap until they get Montgomery more seasoned

Waiting for someone to try and connect the dots on here and think this is an obvious sign we are in on Ohtani…?

Carlos Santana sounds like a Grifol signing. Former ties to the Royals and will be a cheap DH option so right in the Sox wheelhouse and would be one person would could take a walk, something this team knows nothing about.

Perez was somehow worse than Grandal last year…..hard pass

And this is exactly why if you are the Whitesox you should have waited until the end of the year to see who was available and do external interviews to make sure you brought in the best qualified GM

He is what he is. A constant injury waiting to happen. Anyone is foolish to think he will return to 2019 Yoan and let’s be honest here when it matters he doesn’t show up. As soon as you can dump him you do it and don’t think twice about it.

Lol wtf?!?! This team I just don’t understand

Or Getz is Pedro’s guy….

They definitely lost Thursday with hiring Getz but won on Wednesday

My biggest loss for words with it all is how have you NOT talked about playing time for the final month of the season? Makes no damn sense. They have no game plan for where this is headed and the idiots in charge can’t form a sentence without sounding totally out of their league

The exact reason he was called up a few weeks back, to ride the bench next to Pedro
