Patino and Rodriguez called up; Rodriguez sent back down, Remillard up

Hmm, who plays, Lenyn or Popeye? Or does TA sit? Moncada?

Also, is Seby not coming back up?

You know the answer to this is neither. TA at SS and Andrus at 2B. Grifol doesn’t want to sacrifice those potential Ws for player development

Popeye is a gem. Alas, like Sosa, do not expect walks.

Whatever happened to Romy?

Never mind, just read he had surgery on Aug 11 for a torn labrum.

I forgot where Patino came from then looked up and see he came over for cash considerations from Tampa.

The New Look White Sox....now with Popeye.

Is it wrong that I see this -- along with the promotions of Nastrini and Mena -- as bad for my favorite team, the Birmingham Barons?

I sat here for five minutes trying to figure out who the f*** Rodriguez was.

I hope Jason and Stone get the memo about Popeye.

TA, Moncada, Sosa in the line up. Popeye sits. Maybe Grifol just wanted his old friend back sitting next to him?

I hope they just decide to DFA Yas when he's ready. There really is no reason to keep him around the final month with him being a FA.

When Patino gets in a game, he’ll be the 52nd Sox player this season. A franchise record.

I assume he had also been put on waivers?

I would think so, but you don't need to put a guy on waivers to DFA them.

Oh, I know. I was just curious. It seems like teams were putting all their upcoming free agents on waivers just to save $$. That's what the Angels did.

Huh? Then why is he up at all?

The exact reason he was called up a few weeks back, to ride the bench next to Pedro

Someone has to want those upcoming free agents of course.

The best is that Getz literally said him and Pedro would be in constant communication and clearly that’s not the case day 2 of Chris’ tenure.

My biggest loss for words with it all is how have you NOT talked about playing time for the final month of the season? Makes no damn sense. They have no game plan for where this is headed and the idiots in charge can’t form a sentence without sounding totally out of their league

Volume, the key to business success.

Why.
