Bears Talk
Yes I would rather have them because one is a rookie and the other is in his 2nd year, and they were both studs in COLLEGE but they have 22 career receptions between them, so they are far from proven which was your knock on the Bears recievers. Yes, with a career QB rating of 62.2... And the Bears picked up John Tait, Ruben Brown, and Ogunleye, three big pick ups for this team...

Wouldn't those apply to the Lions as well?

Sunday 8/29 - going for a tie vs. the Tribe!
I'd just shut him down for the rest of the year.

Sunday 8/29 - going for a tie vs. the Tribe!
Please tell me we aren't getting 1 hit by Scott f***ing Elarton, and that 1 hit was of the infield variety. Holy f***in s***.

This is gonna be Jon's typical blow up inning. Jose with an E doesn't help. I am so sick of this guy, if they resign him I will be f***ing pissed.

Wow, that's the worst lineup of the year... Makes sense, just don't get anyone important hurt.

Here's a game where it happend

Question..
I think if the DH is taken out of the DH spot I think the team loses the DH... Don't hold me too it though, I'm gonna look it up. From mlb.com The Designated Hitter Rule Pinch hitters for a Designated Hitter may be used. Any substitute hitter for a Designated Hitter himself becomes a Designated Hitter. A replaced Designated Hitter shall not re-enter the game in any capacity. The Designated Hitter may be used defensively, continuing to bat in the same position in the batting order, but the pitcher must then bat in the place of the substituted defensive player, unless more than one substitution is made, and the manager then must designate their spots in the batting order. A runner may be substituted for the Designated Hitter and the runner assumes the role of the Designated Hitter. A Designated Hitter is "locked" into the batting order. No multiple substitutions may be made that will alter the batting rotation of the Designated Hitter. Once the game pitcher is switched from the mound to a defensive position this move shall terminate the DH role for the remainder of the game. Once a pinch-hitter bats for any player in the batting order and then enters the game to pitch, this move shall terminate the Designated Hitter role for the remainder of the game. Once a Designated Hitter assumes a defensive position this move shall terminate the Designated Hitter role for the remainder of the game.

Team speed
God they are fun to watch. Crawford is my favorite non Sox player now.

BJ Upton
He looks smooth when he runs and he can scoot. I wanna see this kid play short.

Team speed
I think this is a big problem for us. It is so critical to be able to go from first to third on a base hit with less than 2 outs. Then a groundball or a flyball can score you. As opposed to our team where we only take one base on a single. Not only going 1st to 3rd but stealing bases is key and we suck at it, scoring more easily on sac flys (see...PK's out a home), getting doubles on could be triples, etc.

Police Dog ODs
Yep. That's the 1st thing I thought of...

How many wins will it take?
This is a big series coming up with KC and we are more than capable of sweeping. Hopefully Contreras, Schoe, and Garland can keep us in the game. Then we will have a chance because KC pitching blows. We get to face Brian Anderson who we own, and that needs to continue. The other 2 guys, Wood and Grenkie we have never faced. So we'll see about that. Then comes a tough series against Celveland which we have Buehrle, Garcia, Contreras, and Schoe going. I think right now we have a chance to make up ground fast. Then we'll see from there.
