I saw him play once..... he had two hits. He didn't make any plays in the field that I recall, so it was really tough to get a good read on him.

 

He has hit at every level, yet is still very erratic on defense, as many young shortstops are. The D-Rays are going nowhere, so why not let him learn at that level?

Congrats to Upton on being call-up to the big leagues. Here's to hoping he does well.

Great pick up Spiff. You know damn well I'll be watching that game.

I can't wait to see this kid play. Also I want to say congratulations to Alex Rios for hitting his 1st homerun in MLB for the BJays. Here here.. :cheers

I love how they built that offense. That's going to be so damn fun to watch, I'll definitely watch this game tonight, I'm anxious to see this kid play.

Here's to hoping the D-Rays dominate. My favorite teams are now the Sox, and whoever plays the Twins/Angels/Rangers/BoSox!

They're putting no pressure on him tonight, he's batting 9th and DH'ing. That kind of sucks I wanted to see what he can do in the field.

He impressed me on how aggresive he was in that at-bat. Swung at the first 2 pitches he saw in the bigs, took a ball then hit one on the opposite side hard but right at second. But he's only 19 so everyone should give up on him..

Upton is batting next again.
