I am sure it was just the Yankees blocking the Jays. No reason for the Sox to deal him now to just one bidder. If they actually wanted to trade him, do it in the off-season to a larger market.

Marin looks like a realistic option for the Sox pen in 2016. He was throwing 89-91 in his outing but was very effective (3 K's in 1.1 perfect innings). With Marin I think his location and ability to change speeds is what makes him so difficult to hit. He works quickly and has excellent mound presence.
