  3. Great story and great piece, probably the best one yet. I am really rooting for this guy to get at least a cup of coffee in September.
  4. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 30, 2015 -> 01:36 PM) And Onelki Garcia blows it in the 9th to lose 2-1. Welp
  5. Quick, somebody ask Keith Law if Marin projects to be an ace!
  6. Should of hired Dave ******* Martinez in the first place. Now he's with the Cubs. Ugh.
  7. QUOTE (raBBit @ Jun 29, 2015 -> 01:08 PM) Both Montas's ERs were runners he left on base when he was taken out. I'd love to see some batted ball statistics from him. He has rarely allowed HRs since the Sox got him. I loved the Schroeder draft pick. He seemed like a sneaky good pick. I hate having GF as an affiliate though. Not that any rookie ball league stats should be used as future indicator, GF guys always bruise the ball. When I was doing the recap I wanted to include the Voyagers team batting stats since I thought they would be leading the Pioneer League...nope. Middle of the pack with a .305/.386/.424 team line. Crazy hitters league.
  8. http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2015/...-dominant-wins/ Recap posted. Rookie teams romp. Jake Jarvis and Ryan Leonards on fire.
  9. QUOTE (Señor Ding-Dong @ Jun 29, 2015 -> 04:10 AM) What the hell was Keon Barnum doing playing catcher? http://www.milb.com/milb/stats/stats.jsp?g...ox&did=milb Ha, didn't notice that because I didn't even look at the box score since it was suspended. Has to be a typo
  10. http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2015/...s-bats-impress/ Recap posted. Great Falls lineup continues to impress
  11. I know it is REALLY early, but encouraging start for Casey Schroeder, a switch-hitting catcher the Sox drafted in the 8th round. Definitely could use the catching depth.
  12. http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2015/...-sweep-the-day/ Recap posted. Balanced day for the Sox affiliates.
  13. http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2015/...-to-22-innings/ Recap posted. Marin's incredible streak, Easterling start, and some strong early results from Great Falls hitters.
  14. Shark's trade value increasing and Sale's decreasing...SELL SELL SELL
  15. QUOTE (flavum @ Jun 23, 2015 -> 12:24 PM) Cameron with another Sox article... http://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/maybe-its-t...-the-white-sox/ David Cameron ‏@DCameronFG 11m11 minutes ago There will never be a better time to move Sale, Abreu, and Quintana.
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 23, 2015 -> 09:06 AM) Everything I have read from professionals see him as a top end rotation starter. Keith Law (surprise surprise) is a notable Fulmer non-believer. He actually said Fulmer has "no chance" to be a starter with his current delivery. However, he did say the White Sox were a perfect landing spot for him with their prior success with unconventional deliveries (cough, Sale, cough).
  17. If they both amount to basically nothing we win due to the money saved.
  18. Carson Fulmer's night and college career are done. He went 7.2 scoreless innings, allowing two hits and two walks while striking out eight. Look for him to sign at slot or (hopefully) a bit below and immediately be our #1 or #2 prospect.
  19. It's my first extended look at Fulmer and he is FILTHY. A lot of awkward swings at his breaking ball. Six up, six down so far.
  20. QUOTE (BlackSox13 @ Jun 22, 2015 -> 01:49 PM) Yes sir, Fulmer is tonight's starter for Vandy. 7PM start I believe. Nice! I'll be tuning in! It should be his last appearance in college before he joins the Sox.
  21. College World Series starts tonight...does anyone know if Fulmer is starting game 1?
  22. Omar Narvaez has been named a 2015 Carolina League All-Star and will participate in the All-Star Game on June 23rd. Narvaez hit .299/.361/.353 through the first half of the 2015 season.
  23. Frank Montas also has been selected to play in the Southern League All-Star game on June 23rd.
  24. On June 9th, Montas threw a seven inning no-hitter against the Cubs AA affiliate Tennessee Smokies. http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2015/...s-aa-affiliate/
  25. http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2015/...sox-affiliates/ Recap posted. Wow what a day!
