  1. I know the Sox bullpen has been solid, but man what does Cleto have to do to get a promotion? He has a 0.47 ERA now.
  2. QUOTE (LDF @ May 11, 2015 -> 01:13 PM) then i was wrong, i was looking at the weak point in the sox system. if not infield, then it is outfield. i don't know. i am just throwing some ideas and hope i can be lucky on one. I think unless a prospect is pushing the door on the majors, you shouldn't get too crazy about learning different positions. In Alvarez's case, he was away from baseball so long, I am sure he is doing his best to learn shortstop. It seems like that position is incredibly valuable right now with Addison Russell, Franklin Barreto, and Marcus Semien being young shortstops that were centerpieces to big trades recently.
  3. Jordan Guerrero is a stud.
  4. http://www.chicagonow.com/future-sox/2015/...mers-off-train/ Recap posted!
  5. Great night from Anderson but needs to starting walking. He only has two walks so far the entire season, I would imagine more advanced pitchers would not give him much to hit.
  6. He is definitely a legit prospect because of his defense but I am not convinced he will ever hit enough. The one thing that might save his offense is if he gives up switch hitting, I assume the Sox are holding out hope it improves because of his age. In 2014 he hit .226/.287/.251 as a LHB and .273/.350/.438 as a RHB and thus far in 2015 he has hit .200/.300/.200 as a LHB and .333/.360/.667 as a RHB. Those are some very dramatic splits and I'd be interested to see how his offense would improve as a full time RHB.

  13. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Apr 29, 2015 -> 07:52 AM) Recap posted. I've reached out to the Barons to see if they are willing to say what is up with Montas, but I doubt they will in this case. I'll ask Sanburn about his start and see if he will say anything revealing.
  14. QUOTE (oldsox @ Apr 21, 2015 -> 07:15 AM) K. Walker has come back. Hitting in the .240's with 7 bags. That sounds like the old Keenyn Walker...

  25. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Apr 7, 2015 -> 09:37 AM) Did you see last season? It was awful. Last year was a bit of a down year, but they did have Micah Johnson and Ravelo for most of the year. It depends on position availability, as a lot of clubs have quadruple A veteran players fitting spots on AAA rosters.
