I like you Elvis, but you have been brutal in a starting role so far.

Seby was not happy with the Cruz slide it seems. Audio below.

Dat bat kick.

Are we fired up enough now to score some runs?

Hit a dinger please.

109 MPH Liner for Romy. xBA of .630.

I would like some starting pitching to go with this offense.

Hanger city.

And now a 2 run homer on top of that. (Not attributed to Mena.)

I don't know what it is, but PCA seems like a big douchebag. Maybe it's his body language? Kinda reminds me of Brady Singer.

A walk and a bloop single ends the night for Mena. Great first outing regardless.

A walk, strikeout on a pretty changeup, a fly out and ground out that inning. 71 pitches through 4.

Reminder how young this kid is for AA.

Strikes out the side. 8Ks. Methinks Mena isn't going to fly under the radar much longer.

Around 93-94 according to the broadcast. He can top out a bit higher from what I saw last year. He's only 20 though. Maybe there is more in the tank? I don't know s%*# about projection. I'm just an amateur that likes watching prospects.

The secondaries are very good. If he somewhere finds a few more clicks on the fastball watch out.

Mena throwing some real nice looking sliders and changeups this inning. Strikes out the side. What a beast. 5Ks in 6 outs.

Mena strikes out 2 but gives up a solo shot on the fastball in the 1st. He also looks thicker and got a haircut since last season.

Sosa RBI double. Also has a BB & 2 SO.

Hope Bham gets to play. I feel we are due for a Mena start at this point.

Kanny already banged. Very rainy out here.

Starting pitching needs to get their s%*# together. I think the offense will be fine. Let's get it.

Pallette had a laborious 1st, but struck out 2 in the second. Done after 36 pitches which is presumably intended.
