It's completely unaccpetable to keep punting games by pitching this guy.

I actually am pretty on board with Gilbert TBH. I also really like Jett Williams for no discernable reason other than he looks like a roided out scummy high schooler in one of Kiley's videos? Maybe not the best criteria for selecting your 1st rounder though.

I think Jimmy's tweet was largely in jest by the way. He just checks some of the prototypical White Sox boxes.

So true.

5th inning didn't go so well. Strikeout, walk, line out, walk, HBP, walk, then pulled. Then grand slam.

Callis has a new mock. Picks 1 through 12 are hitters. This hasn't happened since 1965 aapparently. https://www.mlb.com/news/mlb-mock-draft-2022-historic-focus-on-offense?t=mlb-pipeline-coverage No Schultz in the 1st or supplemental round BTW. Since he's being talked about.

No W-S TV feed, but seems Thompson is having a very good start thus far. 1 H 1 ER 1 HR 1 BB 5 SO through 4 inninings. 56 pitches. 38 for strikes.

That is what Jimmy reported recently.

I blame the Cease meltdown on this thread. DON'T MAKE THREADS LIKE THIS.

Mena with the first "off" start I've seen so far. Not locating the breaking stuff and not getting the swings and misses on it he usually does. Just doesn't have the feel it looks like. He's also falling behind most hitters. Two fastballs off the right field wall and a loud sac fly on a hanging breaking pitch this inning. No strikeouts and a walk through 2.

Colson with a bases loaded double. Hit it over the right fielder's head.

Kath has a walk and now a line drive single. Smashed it. No idea who the Mudcats announcers is, but he's real good.

Sosa with a flyball to the warning track again. Just missed one.

Colson with a line drive single that was 109 off the bat. I love when announcers share trackman data.

Happy Mena day!

I too can't seem to find any information on the skillset of said player. But bloodlines!

Kath homer to right CF. Camera work was horrible so not going to be any pretty video on it.

Martin gives up another 3 run blast on a hanging curve.

Martin with 4 Ks through 2.0 IP, but has walked 1 and given up a 3 run bomb on a heater right down the pipe.

Kelley done after 1.1 innings and 29 pitches I guess? Wasn't injury related or anything. Owen replaces him.

Grayson Rodriguez/Davis Martin should be fun. Kelley going for the Cannon Ballers.
