  1. I think I would really like to see the White Sox get creative and try to nab an injured JT Ginn with a second round pick. Perhaps underslot a prep arm/Howard to free up some money for it. I'm normally more risk-averse, but I really love Ginn, and the fallback of a compensatory pick the following year if you don't sign him makes it an easier pill to swallow. Alas, this is more of a Washington Nationals move than a Chicago one.
  2. I think I'm in the camp of hoping one of that tier of college pitchers falls to 11. Reading Law's chat today though sure makes it sound like teams want to take the "certain" assets (college arms/bats) though.
  3. Bailey from Callis as well. https://www.mlb.com/news/2020-mlb-mock-draft-jim-callis-picks-1st-round
  4. New BA mock up as well. Bailey as well for the White Sox. https://www.baseballamerica.com/rankings/mlb-mock-draft/
  5. Some more blurbs regarding players we've discussed as Sox targets or just of interest. Also worth noting he doesn't have Kelly in the 1st round.

  7. Shuster seems pretty intriguing to me if the Sox go the college pitching route after the 1st round. Wish I could have gotten a look at him during the shortened season.
  8. 10 Rising Draft Prospects - BA https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/2020-mlb-draft-10-rising-prospects-you-need-to-know/ Article about some dudes who have made big jumps since the start of the year. Will share some blurbs of the ones I find interesting.
  9. Since Jimmy has indicated a potential link to Kelley, here's an updated scouting report via BA.
  10. Updated Crochet writeup via BA.
  11. Also of note. Cavalli at 15 to the Phils. Howard to the Dodgers at 29. Los Angeles would turn that kid into a superstar I bet.
  12. BA has also updated the Cade Cavalli scouting report. He's someone with notable helium, even more so on Law's list. See below if you too wanted to know more about him.
  13. BA updated draft rankings. Posting the top 15. Also a blurb showing the biggest upward movers. https://www.baseballamerica.com/rankings/2020-mlb-draft-top-prospects/

  15. This is news. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/29004498/mlb-union-focused-plan-allow-season-start-early-arizona
  16. My guys are Veen, Detmers, and Meyer currently. I think I need to read/see more of Cavalli. Law is higher on him then BA.
