  1. Wouldn't a contract extension worked out within the trade also increase the return to the White Sox? Isn't that historically how it's worked?
  2. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5658807/2024/07/25/garrett-crochet-white-sox-trade-deadline/?source=emp_shared_article
  3. Regarding some prospects we have been discussing as trade returns. Colt Emerson is now 5th overall from 37th. Basallo is now 11th from 20th. Josue De Paula is now 14th from 25th. Aidan Miller is now 20th from 89th. Dalton Rushing is now 31st from 86th. Justin Crawford is now 35th from 43rd.
  4. Someone inquired on Colson in the comments and Keith responded.
  5. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/5656143/2024/07/25/mlb-top-prospects-2024-jackson-holliday/ Colson has fallen out of the top 60.

  7. I also might be influenced by the fact that Northbrook Bob follows said account.
  8. I feel like they have some sort of legitimate source. Though that account is cringe af at times with hot takes.
  9. The first 2 are ideal partners. Hope you are right with that dope.
  10. Quinn Matthews would be a solid get. 60th prospect on the most recent BA Top 100 (Updated today).
  11. No idea who the guy is or if credible, but mentions Quinn Mathews.
  12. Agreed. The statement that his value hinges on being able to throw 6-7 innings tonight is asinine.
  13. I still am fine with the Phillies as a Robert trade partner. Dombrowski has the balls to actually make a trade like this. Miller, Caba, Crawford, are all very desirable.
  14. Pulling out some more quotes pertaining to White Sox, and paraphrasing some things. - Dodgers have the pieces to play in any sandbox. Mentions both Robert and Crochet as options. - Orioles could get Robert and Crochet if they desired. But "they are more patience than blockbuster." - Padres are on the prowl, but Salas and De Vries are off limits, and they wouldn't have the pieces to get a Crochet type player without them. Also mentions Snelling and Lesko backing up this season. - Mariners are looking to add within reason due to their recent slump. They were all in buyers before, but might be reconsidering. Ideal situation would be match up with a team that has under control bats. Doesn't mention any teams in specific as partners. Says performance in upcoming series against the Angels and White Sox might dictate direction. - Dominguez and Spencer Jones aren't entirely off the table for the Yankees. Doesn't mention them targeting any specific players though. - Regarding Skubal, any hopes of acquiring him would require the sort of overpay no team would be willing to consider. Flaherty is much more likely to be moved. - Red Sox might be adding and subtracting. Internal feelings are that they are overachieving and might be best suited to hold onto the young core pieces who are knocking on the door. (Mayer, Anthony, Teel, Campbell.)
