I just reviewed the trading history of Montas. We got him from Boston in the Jeff Peavey deal. No problem there. Then, we gave him to Dodgers in the Todd Frazier acquisition (3 way deal). Not a good trade. Bassitt, of course, wet to A's as part of the Shark fiasco, along with Semian et al. Now they are both facing us in the same series. That's baseball.

Hope you're right, because he seems like a great kid, but he hasn't had a really good year for a while, and with the emergence of Vaughn, Sheets, and Burger in the outfield, plus Micker and Cespedes and hopefully Colas, I don't see him ever again getting onto the Big Club here.
