There is no doubt in my military mind that Colas is better than Sheets as a right fielder. Bring him up, screw the service time, because they'll probably extend him anyway.
  2. That was a management philosophy that I never understood. Never knew which of our execs thought that way.
  3. Now we need to get these guys playing, other than Pallette, of course.
  4. One of you (or more) who really follows our farm system, please rank our 3 middle infield, stateside prospects: Sosa, Ramos, Rodriguez
  5. Bard is a virtual certainty to be traded.
  6. For all the Soto lovers out there, why has his offensive stats regressed this year?
  7. Just wondering here..... As Colas continues to rake, and Hahn continues to get calls about Colas, does he have total authority to trade him at whim, or does he have to bounce it off someone first?
  8. Dreaded . . .
  9. He's in for his speed.
  10. Giolito off the hook.
  11. Vaughn disappeared last year at this time.
  12. Why do those two guys have so much leverage?
  13. Quintana slated to start Friday vs Phils.
  14. The slowest runner I have ever seen in MLB was an old Harold Baines. At the end of his career, he basically could not run. Grandal was close to that.
  15. The boys at PTI just confirmed Dodgers are talking to Wash about Soto. Washington demanded LA's top 6 prospects. They can keep Soto.
  16. SoxTalk signings are more current that White Sox website.
  17. Prospect rankings were made a few months ago, weren't they? Before Colas started really mashing?
  18. Thanks for your free psychoanalysis. Actually, I was indifferent about all the players you mentioned above. In the last ten years or so, the only prospects I really feared losing were Tim Anderson and Luis Robert. I knew Robert was safe, because we paid so much for him. Now I put Colas and Montgomery in there, too. Regarding the Tatis giveaway, I had not yet developed that irrational fear, because he hadn't yet played in pro ball. I just could not understand his inclusion at the time of the Sheilds trade. It made no sense. Shields was a broken down pitcher at the time, so why would we give up Tatis. It never entered my mind. Giving up Colas and/or Montgomery has entered my mind, so I need help.
  19. 29 GMs are salivating over him, and they all know Hahn's number.
  20. Is that a Golden Sombrero?
