  1. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 24, 2010 -> 09:22 PM) His name is Rios and he dances on the sand! This is my favorite post ever.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 24, 2010 -> 10:58 AM) Hell, if Joe could hit .200, he would be a massive improvement over our usual two 3Bs right now. I really, really want to sign Crede to a Pods-09 contract, put him at 3rd, and have Teahen be the super sub.
  3. QUOTE (SoxAce @ May 24, 2010 -> 02:28 AM) I agree with you completely. In all honesty, it's a tougher question to answer when you think about it. Long term, I'll take Bosh cause of the youth and other areas, but I think Dirk fits much better next to Rose and LeBron, even for only a 2-3 year stint cause of age. For me it is Dirk no question. The Bulls would be a nightmare to defend if you had those 3, especially if you could add Anderson or Henry in the draft. That being said, I agree with Ace in that Bosh is better long term, but until Dirk shows signs of slowing down, I'd take him easily.
  4. One thing I find amusing is when you fight across the river with Irish to get to Mexico...but you can go back to New Austin at whim directly after.
  5. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 24, 2010 -> 12:36 AM) We're not trading any member of our starting rotation not named Freddy Garcia. I could see Gavin being shipped out for Fielder of AGon, if it allows them to keep Huddy. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 24, 2010 -> 12:37 AM) Yes. What would it take to get him? Now that's the kind of hitter to excite the masses heading into the future. I'd say something like Flowers + Morel would maybe interest the Jays. Maybe.
  6. QUOTE (DBAHO @ May 24, 2010 -> 12:13 AM) Dirk's opting out now also FWIW. Would Bulls fans rather have Dirk instead of Bosh to join Lebron? If I could get him for cheaper (still via sign-and-trade however), I'd think about it, as he isn't showing signs of slowing down and provides a good 3pt threat.
  7. QUOTE (joeynach @ May 23, 2010 -> 11:38 PM) I was just wondering first and foremost if anyone here is going to be at the game tomorrow night in Cleveland. I am driving in from Pittsburgh with a friend of time and we got super cheap tix on stubhub. If anyone is going lets meet up. Also does anyone have any parking or before game hangout recommendations for me. Im going on a tight budget so any affordable stuff would be great. Thanks guys!! Bring good luck with you.
  8. QUOTE (pktmotion @ May 24, 2010 -> 12:05 AM) Do you think we trade them starting pitching? Given how poorly our starting staff has been, I'd hate to sell on someone low. If Gavin turns it around, perhaps flip him and some 'spects for Fielder given his contract issue?
  9. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ May 23, 2010 -> 11:26 PM) I think he comes to Chicago. Not sure what Cuban said but he was fined 100K, for tampering. He basically said he'd like to have LeBron as a Mav.
  10. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 23, 2010 -> 11:12 PM) Sox should do anything to get that lefthanded hitting first baseman playing for Toronto's AAA team -- guy they got in the Halladay deal. I forget his name but he is f***ing awesome and he's a young lefthanded hitter! You'd think the Sox could dangle Jenks in front of some teams that need a closer. Despite what people on this board think, he's still able to produce. And what's with Beckham making out after out? Sophomore jinx? This is getting ridiculous. Two months of hell for Gordon Beckham. Brett Wallace? It'd be rather difficult to pry him away from the Jays for Bobby.
  11. QUOTE (Swingandalongonetoleft @ May 23, 2010 -> 10:16 PM) Stays with the Cavs but won't take a max deal (length-wise). 2 or 3 year deal. Bulls should wait for Carmello (next summer, I believe). I'd actually like that a lot. Yao Ming might just wind up being the low-risk high reward big guy this team has been missing since Mugsy, I mean, Curry/Wallace. Um, waiting for Carmello wold be bad because not only does it ask fans to wait another season, but Noah will be due for a pay raise, and then they won't be able to go over the cap to keep him. It's hit a homer this offseason or strike out. Simple as that.
  12. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ May 23, 2010 -> 08:43 PM) The officiating in the first half of tonights game has been laughable. League doesn't want two sweeps and a long period of no games apparently. I want the Suns to win and I agree.

QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ May 23, 2010 -> 11:38 AM) I'd take Uribe at third base in a heartbeat...I'd also take him at 2B as well. When we got Teahen, I wanted to have him as a super-sub, and resign Uribe for third.

QUOTE (knightni @ May 21, 2010 -> 08:55 PM) Tonight is the start of a stretch of great baseball - I can just feel it! Let's get that DH, a stud 3B, and a LH reliever and take this division! Trade for AGon-Poreda, call up Morel/Viciedo? (Wishful thinking)
  15. Yea, Asik should be headed over this year, and I like him personally from footage I've seen. From what I've seen/read he's a 7-foot, white Tyrus Thomas. Hopefully he's not basketball stupid.
  16. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 22, 2010 -> 04:43 PM) It was this exact same day (May 22) that Gavin turned it around and dominated the rest of the way last year. That's kinda scary. Alex Rios has been one of the top 10 players in the AL this year. Bullpen is pitching like it did the first few weeks. CQ and GB are showing signs. Again, until we get to .500 there's nothing to get excited about. But there are some encouraging signs. This is how I feel.
  17. QUOTE (dmbjeff @ May 22, 2010 -> 02:05 PM) you could get one at the custom tshirt store in the cell. im not sure the price on that versus a vendor sold tshirt though. It's cheaper, but doesn't look the same. That being said, Santos is #1 on my list. He's going to be impossible to find for awhile.
  18. Rios is slowly moving in front of Gavin & Danks on my Shirts to Buy List
  19. Beckham growing a slump-busting goatee? Maybe he's becoming Paulie. Metallica AB Music + Goatee + Number is 1 Higher = Paulie Jr. With some speed, that is.
  20. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 22, 2010 -> 12:15 PM) Do the Bulls have a 2nd round pick they could use to move up a few slots? No, pretty sure they traded that pick for Asik (or maybe it was sent to the Cavs in the Wallace Trade, not sure). All I know is, they won't have a second round pick the next two years either.
  21. QUOTE (ZoomSlowik @ May 21, 2010 -> 09:01 PM) You should read mock drafts that are written by more credible authors. There's no way Henry should go in the top-5. Here it was. http://thehoopdoctors.com/online2/2009/02/mock-draft/ It was one of those things that had a bunch of drafts Top 3 picks. And now I see it was by NE Patriots draft, and it makes sense. Bulls chances at LeBron take serious blow: http://www.sportspickle.com/article:924/re...y-doable-knicks
