Assuming Buehrle's hangover ends next year, you got 4 All-Star caliber pitchers, whom let's assume best case scenario...If Buehrle pitches like he did Pre-Perfection this year, Peavy like he's capable, Danks & Floyd like they did later in the season and you could have 4 Cy Young contenders on your hands.

Coming from the Crawford/Upton thread... If the Sox could acquire Fielder or Gonzalez, I'd gut the farm (aside from: D2 and Hudson) and might even throw in Nix. Then I'd keep Pods as the LF, as you wouldn't have enough money to lockup Figgins. If JR gave it the pass though... I still think Bobby will have a bounce back year next, so I don't send him for Crawford. You'd have: Pods/Figgins (only if JR is willing to sign a cheque) Rios (assuming he gets his stuff together in Spring Training) Beckham Gonzalez Quentin Konerko AJ Ramirez Getz Throw in a stellar rotation, and hopefully a bullpen where Pena, Linebrink, and Bobby rediscover their skills, and you got a contender.

I hate the Tigers. I despise Magglio because he was my favorite player and then left. I still love Crede. That being said, I want the Tigers to win. Why? Brandon Inge has to be one of the nicest guys in baseball and plays hard, and the aside from Crede, the only Twins I can even respect are Nathan and Mauer.

I want Jesus Christ. He plays CF AND can hit a curveball.

Heh, if only he was with Torres for his agent, our Cuban Connection might have kicked in. But you know of course the Yankees and Red Sox will cause a bidding war for him. For some reason I could see the Nats getting involved, like they did for Texeira. Strasburg-Chapman as your 1-2 would be sick if they live up to hype.

Ugh, Hawk is mad how Walker works with the players before every road game and they just seem to forget it come game time.

If Kenny pulls off a block buster Hudson or Flowers will headline it. For an elite pitcher (Haren, Halladay), Hudson's the headliner. For a bat (Crawford) it'll be Flowers. If its someone like Fielder, both are gone.

Buehrle should remain the #1. Because the only thing that means is that he starts Opening Day, because as Ozzie has stated in the past, they want 5 #1's. But Buehrle deserves that Opening Day start, not Peavy, Floyd or Danks.
