  1. QUOTE (shysocks @ Jul 5, 2016 -> 10:50 AM) Glad you posted this angle. I was very happy for Sonics fans yesterday. Came across this on twitter (search "but that's none of my business" if you don't get it): Mina Kimes ‏@minakimes 21h21 hours ago there is not enough tea in the planet to satiate seattle sports twitter right now Matt Ufford @mattufford .@minakimes the skyline DOES look a little different since the KD news broke Oh man that's cold. Incredibly deserved, but cold.
  2. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jul 5, 2016 -> 10:34 AM) He collided with Almora in left center while fielding a fly ball. I dont have a problem with Bryant in the outfield as much as i would Schwarber. Bryant has been competent and i havent seen errors like we have seen from Schwarber in his short time out there. Well to be fair, that's not hard to beat. I'd be a better LF than Schwarber.
  3. Micker went 2-4. Him finally turning it on would be huge.

  5. QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 5, 2016 -> 10:21 AM) They are a fantastic defensive team. I'm not sure that it will matter too much. Bogut seemed more of a cog 2 years ago than last year. Nobody has that center we all keep talking about coming that will destroy small teams. Warriors will continue to be at the very least a top 10 dfensive team because they are well coached and Durant will be a part of that. The NBA is an ebb-and-flow. I'm sure once more teams adopt small ball there will be a center that comes along to change it backup. KAT could very well be that center.
  6. QUOTE (Harry Chappas @ Jul 5, 2016 -> 10:07 AM) So Bryant's season almost went the way of Shwarber's....but Maddon is a genius. Missed this, what happened?
  7. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 5, 2016 -> 08:26 AM) It's one thing to use Wilder as the Dominican excuse. It doesn't or shouldn't have anything to do with Puerto Rico (which is part of the June draft now anyway), Cuba, Venezuela, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Central America, Asia/Australia, etc. Yup. We definitely don't have one of, if not the, most storied relationship with Cuban players in all of MLB.
  8. Anderson will basically have to go nuts from here on out due to his late start relative to other rookies.

    1) at the Yankees needing to improve the back end of the bullpen. 2) Sox backend is fine. It's Albers, Ynoa and Beck that need replacing.
  10. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jul 4, 2016 -> 12:21 PM) Comparing an environment to a team that was 1 win away from being considered the best team of all time and had the best regular season record of all time? Makes sense. The Decision was worse, but LeBron's actual decision to form the Heatles was way better than this.
  11. lol at some people saying this doesn't hurt a legacy.
  12. QUOTE (raBBit @ Jul 4, 2016 -> 12:00 PM) I don't know about that, Sale was a bigger snub last year. Well played.
  13. -Watch them still choke. -Westbrook early favorite for MVP. -Saw a tweet saying this would be like Shaq joining the Bulls after leaving Orlando.
  14. https://twitter.com/CelticsLife/status/7497...7691136/photo/1 Lol, remember when Durant threw shade at LeBron?
  15. QUOTE (bmags @ Jul 4, 2016 -> 11:16 AM) Yeah I kinda feel like that was a pre written article accidentally published. Woj would not be silent They accidentally published all of their pre-writtens. Lol
  16. QUOTE (2005thxfrthmmrs @ Jul 4, 2016 -> 10:56 AM) So much potential down in the AZL lineup, nice to see them hit well as a team last night. It's so amazing see DSL players make the jump.
  17. If Q doesn't make it that could possibly qualify for biggest snub of all time.
  18. Remember when the White Sox went like 25-2 and missed the playoffs that year?
  19. QUOTE (Vance Law @ Jul 4, 2016 -> 01:21 AM) That's the problem with Quintana. He doesn't pitch to win. Did...did we watch the same game today?
  20. If I didn't hate Rondo (dating back to '09 Celtics-Bulls) I'd be all about this. He can still dish and still has a great defensive mind, just needs to use it more. Rondo-Butler-McDermott-Mirotic-Lopez ain't pretty but it's balanced (much more than last year) if Rondo can keep his f***ing head on straight. Guess they're gonna try and be as appealing as possible next year for a start. They'll still strikeout.
  21. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jul 3, 2016 -> 06:15 PM) Right .......... you mean not taking Eaton out of right. Yup. Brain fart.
  22. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jul 3, 2016 -> 05:32 PM) I would love if they could trade for Josh Reddick. Play him in RF and move Eaton to CF. Ajax as 4th OF and Morneau DH. This team would be much better vs RHP. I'd rather play Reddick in left and DH Melky I'm not taking Eaton out of left.
