QUOTE (Joshua Strong @ Apr 8, 2016 -> 06:25 PM) Some DCEU news: Wonder Woman has been moved up from June 23, 2017 to June 2, 2017, which is the same date that Ninja Turtles 2 has. Gal Gadot said that the film is dark. Warner Bros. announced two more DC films recently. The release dates are October 6, 2017 and October 19, 2018. One of those probably is the solo Batman flick, which has a completed script written by Ben Affleck and Geoff Johns. I really hope one of these is the Green Arrow: Super Max film, the script is online and it's written by Justin Marx, who wrote the upcoming Jungle Book film. If anyone wants a few hours to kill, check it out. Suicide Squad test screened and there is a lot more Batman then they're leading on. People are saying that the Suicide Squad reshoots are for action sequences and not humor. Someone who works on the set, said on twitter that the reshoots were mandated by the studio, not David Ayer. God yes for the Batman flick.
  2. Ok everyone, focus the discussion on Schwarber's injury. Not on anyone's wishes or desires.
  3. Since I just went through ACL/meniscus rehab with a larger frame, it's going to suuuuck for Schwarber.
  4. QUOTE (JUSTgottaBELIEVE @ Apr 8, 2016 -> 01:16 PM) and I strongly dislike Arrieta. I haven't developed a like or dislike for Schwarber yet Yeah, but just pull for them to suck.
  5. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 8, 2016 -> 09:12 AM) I think it will be a while before they make that leap, they need a lot more original programming Mostly sarcasm. ...mostly.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 7, 2016 -> 11:55 PM) I don't think they're saying it's untrue (unless I missed that) and I don't think the Soros connection is the story here. It's more that the most transparent organization out there is being ridiculously critical of the biggest leak of our time when you'd think they'd for it. In fact it seemed like a week ago they were, which is why I was surprised reading their tweets tonight (from the last couple days). Wikileaks has either been overcome with extreme jealousy they didnt break a story right up their alley, become a Russian puppet themselves after securing Snowden's transfer or they have a point and these docs should flat out be dumped and released Wikileaks style. I don't completely agree with the latter since there is going to be a ton of personal data involved here but at the same time I don't trust the journalists to come out with this story in a timely and orderly fashion with so much data out there. They are releasing some so far but it's basically a grain of sand compared to a beach of documents. I believe there's a large release set for May although I'm not sure if that similar to the 150 we've seen so far. I'd much prefer they just vet documents for personal info then mass release as much as possible, letting the public write the stories. That'd be both timelier and would eliminate any uncertainty of the vetting of these documents. You may have hit another point on the head with the Russian puppetry. Through Assange and Snowden, WikiLeaks has strong ties to Russia and the Panama Papers rip Putin a new one.
  7. Cloak and Dagger got ordered straight to series on Freeform (rebranded name of ABC Family). That is the pinnacle of Marvel gets to do what they want, when they want. At what point do they say "f*** it" and just make a channel?

Looks dope, but the trailer wasn't overwhelming. Loved watching Donnie Yen kick some ass.

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Apr 7, 2016 -> 10:35 PM) So Wikileaks is claiming the documents were more or less being vetted by George Soros and company for release and are being used to target BRIC countries, hence little to no American involvement here. Wonder how much truth there is to that. I guess if there's one thing about Wikileaks, they are for complete transparency. Could be a case of jealousy too. I'm guessing you hit it on the head with jealousy.
  10. QUOTE (Jake @ Apr 3, 2016 -> 08:19 PM) I have to say that while I love Little Caesar's Crazy Bread and Italian Cheese Bread, their pizza is pure garbage, it tastes bland and not fresh at the same. If you can have pizza that is uninspired, that would be it. I'd rather have a Jack's frozen pizza. Freschetta's rising crust or whatever it's called is actually fantastic, as frozen pizzas go. Last time I had Little Caesar's I had stomach pain for a week. My friend told me I needed to build up a tolerance for it. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Apr 3, 2016 -> 10:12 PM) Out of all the national chains Pape Johns is by far my favorite. Also love Imo's (St. Louis thing) Imo's is an affront to pizzas very existence.
  11. Oh s***, hope Schwarber is OK. But I will revel in Lackey loking bad.

  16. Rollins made up for it.
  17. The Qurse continues
  18. Frazier!
  19. QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 5, 2016 -> 09:39 PM) I am not a Melky guy. Q is looking good so far. Hope our offense relaxes and hounds Bassitt this inning. A+ pun Greg.
  20. QUOTE (pettie4sox @ Apr 4, 2016 -> 07:22 PM) Not all acids are the same hoss. Well, considering the acids in most pops are citric acids, yeah, I'd say they are. Don't use it for mouth wash. However, you know what acid is way more powerful than the acids found in fruits and pop? Stomach acid.
  21. Revolutionary War music, streakers, a no-hitter and Mark Buehrle's magic. The Sox have had some interesting Opening Days. http://www.chicagonow.com/soxnet/2016/04/g...te-sox-history/
  22. I think the best part of this series would be Rodman mind-f***ing Draymond.
  23. QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Apr 3, 2016 -> 07:23 AM) This Warriors team is much better than the Bulls team from the past. Reality shouldn't piss you off. Er, that's highly debatable. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 3, 2016 -> 08:06 AM) 20 years is just too big a gap when comparing teams from different eras. Maybe 10 years and you can do it. 20 is just too much. The game today is straight unrecognizable from 1996. Better or worse is opinion. Different is undeniable. Bulls wouldn't sweep like Scottie said, but it'd be a blood bath of a series. The second dynasty Bulls Kay be the most well constructed team in history to take down the Warriors?
  24. QUOTE (Thad Bosley @ Apr 2, 2016 -> 06:31 PM) Oh, it's far from ideal, wouldn't you say? The team that was dead last in offense in the league last year STILL features Melky Cabrera in the middle of the order, STILL will be giving regular at-bats to Avisail Garcia, and NOW is graced with the offensive juggernauts that are Austin Jackson, Alex Avila, and Jimmy Rollins. That's not very promising at all. We will probably be better overall offensively than we were last year, but seriously, with this cast of characters, we could still be last in offense once again. We are going to need some big time career years and surprises to avoid that outcome. But those are offensive improvements and you forgot Frazier.

QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 2, 2016 -> 06:31 PM) Affleck is directing it as far as I know. So there is some hope for it. I wonder if we'll see Bruce's parents get killed again. Or Bat-Jesus rise from the well. If Affleck directs the Batman movie as well, I'm 100% on board with it. My only stipulation is that it retains sassy Alfred.
