  1. QUOTE (Papa Tru @ Mar 17, 2012 -> 10:16 AM) Yes, I did trade in The Show for MLB2K12.. The Show was terrible and I cant believe I got suckered into buying it by FoP.. Plus, MLB came with NBA2K12 as well and im loving that game so far.. I dont get how you guys can like PS3 so much.. its so inferior to XBOX its not even funny.. You have to wait for long loads whenever you put a game in the PS3 (Yawn) the dashboard is clunky and poor to navigate.. the controller is too damn small.. You cant talk to anyone when you are playing online.. The bluray is pretty damn nice though.. "Damn kids on my lawn!"
  2. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 17, 2012 -> 03:42 AM) I vote both. You should too.
  3. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 03:26 PM) Q has got my vote for poster of the year so far. He's been amazing. Goal complete. Side thought: I miss SoxTalk chat. MizzouWireless thinks its a virus.
  4. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 02:25 PM) I also saw the other day in the last 10 games between Miami and the Bulls the composite score is Heat 917 Bulls 914. QUOTE (kev211 @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 12:16 AM) Jeff Mangurten ‏ @JeffGurt Reply Retweet Favorite · Open The Bulls and Heat have played 10 games (incl Playoffs) over the last two years, the aggregate score: Heat 917, Bulls 914. SS2k5 = The road to 100,000
  5. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 04:21 AM) If the Clips decide to keep VDN for the next season and a half, there's always hope with CP3 IMO. :lolhitting
  6. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 04:07 AM) Chris Paul, Josh Smith, Monta Ellis and Andre Igoudala are some of the free agents in 2013 IIRC. Deron Williams also if he somehow decides to opt-in for another season now. Paul won't unless Blake is injured/Nick Young too crazy. The rest I can see, though I don't see Deron staying in NJ/Brooklyn. If I'm the Magic I'd go after Smith and Ellis of those 5. Though it should be noted: Any Super-Friends team outside of the Heat hasn't had a world shattering success.
  7. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 03:53 AM) Which teams are out there who've actually got the young assets and draft picks to actually come up with an offer like that though? Certainly not New Jersey after they gave away their 1st rounder today (insane trade BTW). And Dwight should have more value than Melo, much more complete player on both ends of the floor obviously. Orlando just have to try and pull off their own "Super-Friends" scenario in 2013 from here IMO. What Super-Friends could they get Dwight in 2013?
  8. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Mar 16, 2012 -> 03:25 AM) So Dwight Howard opts-in for another season, and Magic fans and myself can now smile and shake their heads at 95% experts/people etc. who guaranteed he was going to Jersey or Dallas. As I said before, dumping the contracts of Richardson and Davis should be the goal until the 2013 off-season, but knowing Otis Smith if he sticks around (which is very doubtful now that Howard is staying for another season), he'd be offering the MLE to the likes of Brian Scalabrine if they were available. I wonder if New Jersey now tries to stick it to Orlando by offering Ryan Anderson say 11M a season for 5 years and daring Orlando to match it. Certainly wouldn't rule it out. If someone offers me a package like Denver got for Melo, with a boatload of picks and I'm the Magic, I trade his ass. He only just increased his trade value, nothing else.
  9. Adrian Wojnarowski ‏ @WojYahooNBA The Clippers have traded for Washington's Nick Young as part of a three-way deal, source tells Y! Sports. Marc J. Spears ‏ @SpearsNBAYahoo Clippers acquire guard Nick Young from the Washington Wizards for forward Brian Cook and a pick, source tells Y! Sports. Adrian Wojnarowski ‏ @WojYahooNBA As part of three-team deal, Nene goes to the Wizards, JaVale McGee to Denver and Nick Young to Clippers, sources tell Y! Sports.
  10. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 02:12 PM) I just came here to post this. How the f*** do the Lakers always benefit from s*** like this? How do they always get exactly what they want? How did that just happen? What the f*** what the f*** what the f***. I don't get it. This is why I enjoyed the vetoed Paul trade.
  11. Derek Fisher to Houston for Jordan Hill AND a first round pick. What the f***? Edit: Fisher and a pick for Hill*
  12. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Mar 15, 2012 -> 05:29 AM) Won't spoil the Mass Effect 3 ending, but my god what a letdown. Absolutely terrible compared to Mass Effect 2. I've owned it since Sunday, haven't had time to play (earliest I've gotten to bed this week was 4 AM). I don't want to play the end now...
  13. Mad props to the team and JL3. He can stay now. This is the best team in the league. No one else takes down a Healthy heat down their starting backcourt like that. NO ONE. If Westbrook and Harden are out for the Thunder, they don't win and they still would have Durant.
  14. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142405...2404266836.html D'Antoni spittin' fire. Nevermind, fake. But awesome.
  15. A real backup QB, a #1 WR... If Emery snaps up Mario and drafts an OL, he may be Chicago's favorite person come next year.
  16. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 10:00 AM) Yahoo Sports' Jason Cole reports it's down to the Bears and Bucs for Jackson. If the Bears signed Jackson and Mario somehow, and then drafted really well for the O-Line, some secondary help, and some lineback help, they'd be looking great. With Emery, I'm willing to roll the dice on this.
  17. QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Mar 13, 2012 -> 01:27 AM) Was Gerald Green's dunk posted on here? That might be one of the most impressive athletic dunks I've ever see. He was looking down into the rim. It seemed like his hangtime was forever. Unbelievable. Much better than Griffin on Perkins IMO. It destroyed Griffin's dunk.
  18. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 12, 2012 -> 12:50 PM) Or "The shoe company paying me $200 million over the next 10 years doesn't want me playing on the same team as the guy they're paying $300 million over the next 10 years". Because I'm sure Nike wouldn't jump at the chance to snag Howard. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Mar 12, 2012 -> 01:00 PM) I thought Rose's deal was also $200 million? Let's face it folks, Simmons hit the nail on the head a while ago - stars these days want to be stars more than champions/legends of the sport. They're more concerned about their brand than the number of titles they have. Sad, but true. That and about having fun and the easy route. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Mar 12, 2012 -> 01:03 PM) D12's first priority isn't about winning, that much is clear, if it's true that Adidas is against it, he could just tell them to f*** off...I don't think D12 will have trouble getting another lucrative shoe deal. Nike has no problem with Wade and LBJ in the same market. +1
  19. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Mar 12, 2012 -> 12:44 PM) And the Bulls clear Boozer's contract? Of course I'd do that if he'd extend. But first, I don't believe that the Magic would seriously take Boozer's deal, and second it's pretty clear DH doesn't want to extend here. Still, if that report is true? Dwight is being a baby. Rose - Watson Rip - Brewer Korver - Butler Noah - Gibson Dwight - Scalabrine for all I care. It just doesn't make sense why Dwight really doesn't want to extend here, other than he wants to team with his buddies. But I don't want to here "I want to win" from him.
  20. Wow. Asik + Deng + Boozer + Charlotte pick and Dwight doesn't want to be here. THAT deal I do. Noah + Deng is a little different, but that one, just, wow. I love Deng as much as the next guy, but Noah-Dwight-Gibson is an insane defensive front court. You could start Korver and Brewer/Butler. But the manchild doesn't want to be here, so f*** him.
  21. QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Mar 12, 2012 -> 02:07 AM) So you were willing to give up St. Louis for a #1 seed, but if you were a #2 you wanted to be in the midwest? If Missouri got a #1 seed, they would have most certainly gotten shipped to the west. I feel like Missouri is disrespected with the #2, after actually winning their Conference Tournament and of the top 8 only Michigan State did as well, but a #2 in St. Louis would have made up for it. QUOTE (danman31 @ Mar 12, 2012 -> 03:31 AM) Yeah that was more arguing over semantics. As for the 30 win thing, the stat I heard (via a friend not ESPN) applied to major conferences. Ok, that would make more sense.
  22. QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Mar 12, 2012 -> 09:42 AM) I think he's trying to say that Ozzie is full of s***, saying whatever is convenient for himself. He threw Cooper under the bus for being "disloyal" and looking for an extension for himself. But at the same time, Cox was "loyal" by Ozzie's own definition, and Ozzie still didn't bring him along to Miami with him. +1
