Sports rumor mills just seem to regress. A former player's career is forgotten when they become a Sox manager.

Still marked safe from watching White Sox baseball. Upped my MLB sub to watch the DBacks. A team I've enjoy watching lately is the Pirates. Last week I saw a lot of bad bullpen performances. It's not just the White Sox. Plenty of one run decisions. If the Sox are into developing pitching then trade fo 2 position players instead one of them being a pitcher.

I;m surprised they didn't try to trade with the Sox. It wouldn't be the first guy the Cubs dumped on the Sox that can't catch a baseball. This works out for the Cubs. Rays dumping players like they are 27 win team.

I think a lot of teams are going to be stingy giving up offense.

Do the Sox really lose if they keep their players? I think not. I do think they need a new staff. Maybe hire a manager who wants his own coaches. I wouldn't bank on a faithful fanbase. So it would be another dumpster dive for CF and 2 starters or the premature callups. The teams who have moved from the habitual losing camp have invested more in scouting and development. All the Sox will do is rinse and repeat because the good people are not really in charge.

Maybe people got carried away last season because they were predicted to lose 90. Their big acquisition was a manager . Reminds me of the Sox knee jerk reaction firing Ricky. Rangers are a big disappointment.

Somehow he is on the organization's s%*# list. If that is the case they shoulda traded him. Some of those that don't get trade will be put on waivers I assume.
