I do love the love Billy gets from the fans. It’s just fun to watch and hear.

One would think youth being on both of their sides should enable each to reach their enormous potential. The only question from my view is any long term after effects of each of their serious injuries. I think Eloy has a much better chance of reaching his offensive potential if he’s put at DH full time. I do worry about other potential serious injuries in the outfield with him in the future.

I hope resuming “baseball activities” only means activities involving a bat, not a glove.

Although it’s still early, it’s just very exciting to see how our boys are starting to get attention at the national level. As the season moves on and with continued success, and hopefully a nice splash in the postseason this year, our young stars are only going to climb higher in voting like this. This window of contention we are in is going to be a lot of fun - injuries be damned!

If things continue the way they are for Carlos, Mr. Boras is very likely to land him a better deal than this.

I just love the way TA really owns the Sox brand and is seemingly genuinely proud to be a White Sox player. Great face for the franchise!

I’m not sure why they even felt compelled to make this name change. It’s not like this a tribute to LaRussa like it was a tribute to the long time employee. It’s just putting his name out there for the sake of putting his name out there. A worthwhile tribute is like naming the broadcast booth after Hawk or the organist booth after Nancy Faust. The difference is those two served the Sox organization very well for a long time. The same cannot be said about LaRussa in a Sox uniform. So why reverse the lovely gesture acknowledging the long term employee when you could slap LaRussa’s name on any number of other generic things in the park if you felt the need to add his name somewhere? Put his name on something that doesn’t already have a name on it. I hope they quietly find a way to put Loretta’s name back up on the lounge while rethinking the need to add LaRussa’s name anywhere.
