Lenyn Sosa Called Up // Anderson out 2-4 weeks
soxrwhite replied to DirtySox's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Probably TA goes on DL today. I expect Moncada to follow soon. Sheeez I guess its just the evolution of modern baseball. How many players play 150 games? 130? 120? -
What I do miss about the last three years of the Ozzie era…

No self control = Weak -
She passed away years ago. So I guess she resembles TLR more than anyone else in baseball.

GT 4/8: SOX @ PIT, 5:35 pm, NBCSC

LaRussa was a zombie. He clearly was a pretty damn big problem totally agree. I'm saying the problems seem to run deeper. Perhaps making millionaires out of young men too soon steals their motivation? -
My grandmother was a better option than Diekman. I sometimes wonder if Burger simply isn't better than Jimenez.

Hitting has not been the issue. Keeping the opponent under 12 runs has been a problem. If the carnage continues today who is the new scapegoat? Not TLR or Leury Garcia. -
I've never been a fan of Ruiz but he ( like all wbc players) did not have a spring training.

Reclamation projects and washed up players off the scrap heap. Go Sox

Ozzie is too weak to control his mouth. His baggage is too heavy for any MLB club. -
Are we done blaming LaRussa?

I'm not going too far out on a limb if I predict that at sometime during season this will happen: Jimenez dl ( already there) Moncada dl ( on his way) Anderson dl, grandal dl, Robert dl ,Lynn dl, Kopech,dl, Bummer dl , Hendriks dl ( sorry but already there),

4/6/23 Giants @ White Sox 1:10 Game Time

Mancada is not in the lineup. Is he hurt after the fouling a ball off his toe? If he and Jimenez both go on the dl then I give up. These guys should carry the nikname crystal. Isn't the best ability availability? -

GT: 4/1 | Sox (1-1) @ Astros (1-1) | Giolito vs. Urquidy

Robert is saving us in the field. Killing us at the plate. Vaughn is hitting but cant play defense. I think Robert and Benny need to drop in the batting order, and Vaughn Moncada need to move up. -

Yep.............. I also felt the defensive plays by Bregman and Tucker changed the momentum. -

Is it so necessary to have a left hander? The Astros have all right handers in a very good pen. -

His back acting up already? -
Hawk was never an objective broadcaster. He was the ultimate homer. I loved that about him. Even he is now crappin on the Sox? Something has gone sour in this organization.

As always the chance of your team involves the chances of your competition. 1. Maybe it's Cleveland's turn for the injury bug. If their pitching staff ( both bullpen and starters) put people on the dl they are in a world of trouble. I see Mckenzie is already down. Can Kwan repeat or sophomore jinx? For that matter Francona has had health issues too. They played over their heads last year, and beat up on weak and injured division opponents. May they rot in hell this season. 2.Tigers don't know which way is up 3.Royals may be better than expected but not in it for the long haul of 162. 4. Twins were decimated with injuries last year. They did not do much to improve over the off season. They have a solid team. Dangerous. Maybe weak in the pitching department, but if Buxton stays healthy and the shift rules improve Gallo they should be very tough. 5. Everyone on this site knows the Sox as well or better than I do so no review required. I'll just say if LaRussa was the problem he is gone. If the injury jinx passes the Sox over, the White Sox should compete for the division at least.
