White Sox sign RHP Seranthony Domínguez, 2/20M

I do have hope. I hope we don't lose 100 games 4 years in a row. Doesn't that make you miserable? -
White Sox sign RHP Seranthony Domínguez, 2/20M

All true but it would be nice to sign a few higher end players with the intent of keeping them. The third largest market, only the 2 teams that played in minor league stadiums last year had a lower payroll. Every team should look for a diamond in the rough, but the constant churning of mediocre talent for different mediocre talent is not a winning strategy. -
The Sox save the difference in the contracts of Robert vs Acuna.
-
Not when is injured in spring training.
-
20million floor 40 million ceiling. They could have kept him 2027 also. He probably would have gotten hurt in spring training and play about 60 games. Getting anyone to take the whole 20 million would have been good enough. Now if we can dump JR Ishbia can start with a clean slate.
-
Big difference in those two players also................. This is a salary dump pure and simple. The official end of the covid era rebuild. Got rid of a 22-40 million dollar contract and an unmotivated enigma of a player. The return is irrelevant.
-
grant him an early parole.

That is a great story!

The Future of the White Sox TV Broadcast Team

I never hear of Sox fans changing, but welcome, just don't flip again. -
My feeling on Mead versus Sosa is, neither will be a regular starter. An infield utulity man should have a good glove. So I think Mead is the guy betwen the two.

With Teel, Quero, and Lee on the big leauge club,Romo is bound for Charlotte -
Benetti and Stone were excellent together at the beginning. By the end the act had worn thin..................Schriffen is so bad at times its actually entertaining laughing at him.

Move Hagen Smith to the bullpen to help the White Sox compete in 2026?
soxrwhite replied to ron883's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I hope you are right but I think that is wishful thinking. The American leauge is not a developemental league. -

Chris Getz Murakami. I guess he had a Yen. -
Rolison is another maybe he will work out. Of course they usually do not. Having many maybes doesn't increase each ones chances. It means each one still will not work out. Its gonna be very difficult getting quality for free, or at JR's price. Good luck Getz. Good thing the pope is on your side because you are going to need divine intervention.

Yeah I just meant to comment on the topic. I accidently quoted you. My bad.

It seems as some people here think anyone left off the 40 man roster by all the teams must be garbage. Except Pallette who is suddenly a massive loss.
-
Expected to lose Pallette, but not to a division opponent.
