  1. The AAA teams will see what the MLB teams were doing to get him out. They will do it too. So he will get.....practice and hopefully make the necessary adjustments. This happens while he can play everyday without hurting the big league club and not feeling MLB pressure.
  2. Ah that 1901 game I remember it well. Seems like just yesterday.
  3. I like today's lineup. It's all on Kopech to finally turn potential into results.
  4. Hamilton and Colome huh? Well what the hell, can't just stand pat with this record. Dammed if you do damned if you don't.
  5. He looked a little lost at times. He kept chasing the off speed stuff out of the zone. Needs at bats in the minors. None of these moves is going to change us into a contender but I can't disagree with any of them either.
  6. Everyone's socks droop sometime. Our SOX will rise again. Stay the course stay loyal. He's not gonna sell. Be a Sox fan or don't be. Bitchin' and moanin' like a bunch of...................well let's just stop crying. There has been good years there has been bad years. Lets see where this one goes. The final chapter has not been written. I grant you your opinion respect mine. We probably will not have October baseball but go to a game on a warm Chicago night and have some fun. Its ok to not grind your teeth on every loss.
  7. Ok fair enough. If they do get back in it all I'll say is welcome back, because you will be. You're here because you got the White Sox gene. I know the feeling. So do I.
  8. I'd like him sell as well. Most people seem to think he doesn't care about winning. So Losing will not move him to sell. As for him passing? That happens whether the team wins or loses. Till that time, why not root to win?
  9. Well no one truly has a for sure solution now do they? I will suggest that since the season is less than 20% over they try winning with what we have. There is time to hold our heads up and win some ballgames. Things may look a little brighter on June first than May first. Running around waving a white flag and screaming the sky is falling is definitely not a solution.
  10. I can see your point of view. I have never lived more than 30mins from the ballpark and have been a fan since the 60's. Maybe that accounts for differing perspective. GO SOX!
  11. With all due respect, what kind of solution are you suggesting? Sell the team to new owners who move it to another city? Is that what you want? Another total rebuild? How long does that take and how did it work out? You can't save the house by burning it down. And don't root for the opposition, you're a Sox fan. We are all angry and frustrated.
  12. So when you are at or watching a game now this season are you hoping your White Sox win that game or you pulling for their opponent?
  13. Abreu old and expensive. Vaughn young and cheap.
  14. Yes I agree...............It doesn't look good no doubt, but who gives up in April? A fan roots for their team to win, not lose. It's a long long season. Hang wiff'em.
  15. Its as close as we will get. So celebrate small victories.
  16. Bummer and Diekman. The dynamic duo......for the other team.
  17. Oh what a relief it is! I can finally get a good night's sleep.
  18. MLB would have a say in this. Fresh money and ideas could steal the city from the northside. A very big market to let go so easily. A potential goldmine for a new owner.
  19. He can't play hard or won't play hard. Either way once again today of no use to the team.
  20. He must play hard all the time. If a player can not run hard without getting injured then is he an asset? He is not in today's lineup. He is either benched or hurt. This guy has not played more than he has played in his career. Its always something. The best ABILITY is availABILITY.
  21. I want the Sox to win. C'mon so do you.
  22. Kopech. As bad as the others have been they have had moments. Kopech has given us nothing.
