  1. Isn't Morales pretty much the lefthanded version of Paulino? If so, Sox should ravage his terribly average pitching ability.
  2. QUOTE (Bigsoxhurt35 @ Apr 8, 2014 -> 07:45 PM) JFC Semien Ball was hit hard... 2 feet to the right of the 3B and its two men on, no outs. *shrug*
  3. OK... I've seen enough. Time for Call of Duty. Who wants to join me? Team Deathmatch? Infected? Who's down??
  4. Nice inning there Paulino. Time to get the bats going, guys.
  5. Jordan Danks is really struggling.
  6. Sox squared him up last frame. Second time through the lineup, wouldn't be surprised to see some XBH for the Sox.
  7. QUOTE (Charlie Haeger's Knuckles @ Apr 7, 2014 -> 11:23 AM) I have to say, that as a Sox fan, I've had to re-learn how to watch a Sox game. In the past few seasons (Ozzie's teams included) there seems to be a moment in a game where the momentum turned, and the air was let out of the team. They just didnt give a s*** anymore. It became really hard to watch a team give up a few run or two in the 6th or 7th inning and know as a fan, the game was over. I can't tell you how many games got turned off in the 5/6/7 inning, because there was no point in watching anymore. The first two series this season - its clear that this team is different. They don't quit. They'll likely fight to stay above 500 all year, but they will be worth watching. Gotta respect teams that play above the collective talent level(s). Oh yea, and CHRIS SALE!

  9. They will call up Mike Williamson when they have a spot for him. Signed, Bill Melton
  10. Weren't pretty much all of the Sox pitchers down on velocity in KC? Danks sat at 86-89. Johnson around 90. Sale today was hovering at 92-93 after sitting in the mid/upper 90s last start. I wonder if the park gun in KC is down a tick.
  11. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 03:55 PM) Do you like movies about Gladiators Have you ever seen a grown man naked?
  12. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 03:54 PM) Do you really need an explanation for that? Shirley, you can't be serious...
  13. Is it just me or did De Aza pull up on that? Looks like he could have gotten there.
  14. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 03:46 PM) People would still complain even if we had 3 Mike Trout's starting in the OF What good what it do to have 3 CFers? There'd be no one to cover LF or RF.
  15. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 03:37 PM) Like Uribe and Thornton donks? Or butt implant looking ass, like Octavio Dotel? Dotel for sure.
  16. QUOTE (Baron @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 03:32 PM) Horrible pitch Agreed. letter-high 90mph fastballs get hit hard, typically.
  17. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 12:33 PM) lol, Galarragga, Castillo , Bichette, Burks and Walker made a mockery of hitting in that stadium before the humidor and before testing.... "I hits ball far"
  18. QUOTE (TheTruth05 @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 01:32 PM) It actually seems like the Sox gain a beat when Beckham goes down. Not wishing him injury or anything Semien made some pretty slick plays at 3B in the opening series and seems to be pretty legit defensively. But so is Beckham.
  19. Matt Davidson hasn't stopped hitting after ending Spring Training on a hot streak... 3-3 with a walk and a 2B. http://www.milb.com/gameday/index.jsp?gid=...mp;mode=gameday
  20. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 4, 2014 -> 12:22 PM) I know nobody cares about my fantasy team, but i traded Puig straight up for Wil Myers because I just dont trust Puig to have the year he did in 2013. The guys attitude and the leagues ability to adjust are going to catch up to him. Puig is on my fantasy team as well. I have 3 other good options to start in his place, fortunately. Seeing as how "Dodgers executives" met Puig in the dugout after pre-game workouts today, I think its safe to say they are worrried. If he innocently slept through his alarm or was stuck in traffic, it wouldn't have been a big deal. Maybe Matt Kemp drugged him so he would sleep late, miss the game and he would get to start in Puig's place. hmmmm......
  21. Gotta say, It's nice having legit depth in AAA, though it is just a middle reliever. Semien is another example. Beckham goes down, Sox don't miss a beat.
  22. Jones did the same thing last season. He was pretty brutal in April & May and then was lights out from there. Apr 6.17 May 6.91 Jun 0.59 Jul 3.09 Aug 2.76 Hopefully he rebounds.
