If any of you are interested. Scott Merkin said on this weeks podcast that he's heard about the 3 year offer for Cespedes and other sources tell him the Sox could be done for the offseason.

I dont know if silence from the White Sox as far as interest goes is a good thing. Possibly they've decided to roll with Avi if Cespedes doesnt go their way.

Technically the offseason would be a disappointment. We would still be sitting in the middle. We would still have an outfield that sacrificed about 30 runs last year. You want to let Avi struggle out there fine. Just dont blow smoke and tell me your trying to compete while he's out there dropping baseballs.
