It only got to 18 degrees down here in Melbourne today, no idea what that is in faron height. It should be bout 25 degrees on average but it's been a long cold winter in this neck of da woods. Summer's only bout a month away though.

Hmm this decision will make or break da Marlins. Beckett deserves to win da final game and I hope he does, he'll turnin out to be one hell of a pitcher, prob da best young 1 in da game rite now. There's valid arguments for and against startin Beckett. Ken Rosenthal ripped Jack McKeon for making that decision making because of da 3 day rest for him and Pavano, plus he thinks it'll do long term damage for Beckett's arm, health wise. Personally I don't think Pavano can win in game 7, he's not a big game pitcher, and under da pressure at the Bronx, I think he'll choke. So Beckett's gotta win in game 6 for da Marlins to win da World series in my opinion. Castillo gettin a hit would help too, lol. My perfect ending would be game 7, 0-0 tie in the top of the 9th, Miggy Cabrera hits a towering homer to win da World Series.

Yeah I read in article in the New York Post sayin Soriano prob wasn't gonna be offered a new long term deal the way he's been playin this post season. I don't think he's had 1 productive out so far. Anyways Baltimore and San Diego r prob the only teams that r goin to add payroll this off season. I look for Pettite to be Baltimore's #1 pitching target and they're gonna offer him +11 million ova a few years, Yankees mite not match, although they're idiots if they don't after what he's done in da playoffs, saved their asses big time. They'll be goin after Vlad as well, and I think they'll overspend to get him, but if they don't get him, they mite want Konerko and or Valentin to give em some more pop in da infield. San Diego wants Javy Lopez big time from Atlanta, but he's only played well this year, cos he's injury free, which has neva happened in his career much, and it's a contract year. Fact of life, sports players play twice as good in a contract year. Scott Boras is an idiot if he think Vlad is gonna get ova 20 million.

Welcome back CWSOX! Totally agree wit ya bout Sox Talk. I've only been on here for bout 2 months, but it's become a very important part of my life. It's extremely hard to keep track on my beloved White Sox down here in Australia and it's great just to be able to talk to real WS fans from all around da world, not just in Chicago.
