Da Sox must really start thinkin bout signing more young guys from the region of Cuba and Venezuela or at least sending out some more scouts down there. I mean my point of view is that Cabrera has only been playin Baseball for bout 2 or 3 years, he's from Venezuela, didn't even get drafted, and now he's a star. I mean if we pick up some young guys that scouts may hav missed from areas like that or even Australia, it really could give us an advantage in da long run.

That's why the NFL is the best sporting league in America rite now. Every team's so competitive cos of the Salary Cap, crowds r up, new stadium's bein built. The NHL has gotta hav a Salary Cap in the next CBA to try and model their league like the NFL, and they need to market da league around da young studs like Kovalchuk and Nash who r da next generation of Lemieux's, Hull's etc. I agree that with a Lockout, the NHL is done. My ESPN programming down here is really screwed. Like today I was gettin ready to watch the Orlando vs New York game and instead it's St. Louis vs Detroit Sucks in da Ice Hockey on ESPN2. We get old re - runs of stuff, it's really annoying.

Well, they do like to overpay for guys who are past their prime. See Mo Vaughn, Tom Glavine, Roberto Alomar etc. U'd think they would hav learned afta signing Vaughn, Piazza etc. has blown up in their face. But for every Rangers team, there are teams like Ottawa who have zero budget and still put awesome teams on the ice. It can be done. True but there aren't enough small budget teams like Ottawa who r winnin. Maybe a Salary Cap is on the agenda in the next CBA to help stop rising player salaries and to keep a level playing field.
