    HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Ahh that's hilarious. Ahh yeah it's a really slippery floor up there.
  4. Hmm Lloyd McClendon would be an interesting choice but it could pay off for us. I know even though the team in Pittsburgh doesn't have a lick of talent (excuse Kip Wells) but they continually seem to play hard every night. I wonder what he could do with sum talent like on this team? But da guy I want now is Frank Robinson from the Expos. I hope there's a way KW can convince him to give us his job in Montreal though that might become a possibility if Omar Minaya their G.M leaves for Cincy.
  5. It was certainly a bumpy ride in 2004 and just when we saw the finish line, the Twins came and pushed us of a cliff. Betta luck next year.
  6. Thank God, 1 less Liability we hav to carry around for 2004.
  7. Agreed. Giv da Cubs their brief moment in da spotlight and then watch as they're swept by a bunch of rampaging Braves.
  8. I would luv Frank Robinson to be our manager in 2004. Dunno if he'd leave the Expos though but with Vladimir leaving for greener pastures he might think it's a no win situation ova there and want to leave. But if we can't get him, hire Backman.
  9. Unfortunately I thnik Bartolo will be wearing the pinstripes next year at the Bronx. He'll be just 1 of many leaving us in the off - season.
  10. Hmmm I remember sumthin about us maybe havin an option on him for next year. Can any1 verify this? Anyways I don't think Flash is coming back, just have a look at this statement. "If [the Sox] want to talk to me about re-singing, I don't think they want to wait until Sept. 28," [Tom Gordon] said. "Because if they do, then I want to see what Tampa Bay's talking about, and the Boston Red Sox or the Cubs or anybody else. I would want to find out what I might be worth. I can tell ya he'll be worth more than we can afford.
  11. Well at least they're tryin to send Jerry out on a good note.
  12. Kukkonen scores, 1-0 Hawks
  13. Yeah it's more embarissing to be a White Sox than a Royal right now, knowing that u can only perform in meaningless games.
  14. Anything to get our minds off the Cubs.
  15. Don't think Ruutu's playin tonight apparently they're saving him or sumthin like that. Some of the St. Louis boys r already pissed off at him after the events of da 1st game they had in the preseason.
  16. Yeah I think Flash will be wearing a Philly uniform in 2004. He'd be a good fit for them over there as long as his arm doesn't give way again.
  17. Trade Slonerko to either the Dodgers or O's for some young pitching.
  18. A-Rod can actually be considered this year cos da Rangers almost got to .500. Delgado could get it but the Blue Jays have dropped off quite a bit. Some names to consider, Alfonso Soriano, Nomar Garciaparra. Even though Stewart could get a vot or 2, he doesn't deserve to be the MVP playing for a team for half a season. There's no 1 who really stands out besides Guardado and even Hawkins on that team. They're so friggin even.
  19. Hmmm, I hope it ain't gonna be one of those off - seasons again.

    Chicken or the egg?

Personal experience? Sure. But that was 30 years ago. Man that's a long time ago. Most of us from this board I think weren't even born bf then.
  21. From Foxsports.com The Russian billionaire who bought London's Chelsea soccer club is reported to be negotiating to buy the National Hockey League's Vancouver Canucks. London's Evening Standard reported Thursday that Roman Abramovich, who bought Chelsea this summer, is being encouraged to invest in the NHL by fellow Russian and former NHL player Viacheslav Fetisov. The newspaper quoted Fetisov as saying: "It wouldn't hurt to have our own wholly Russian team in the National Hockey League. It would stir up more interest." A spokesman for Chelsea declined to comment. Abramovich already owns the Russian ice hockey team Avangard Omsk. NHL teams posted record losses of nearly $300 million last season, according to figures distributed to owners this summer. That was an increase of 35 percent from the $218 million in operating losses incurred by the league last year. The losses are blamed on soaring player salaries. Hmmm. this could shake things up majorly in the NHL. Vancouver would join teams like the Rangers and Dallas in just buying players instead of building teams through the draft. If I was Bill Wirtz, I'd be on the phone to this guy staright away begging him to buy da team.

    Great Bears Joke

Ahh that's hilarious. Great Site. Somehow I get da feeling a lot of ppl r gonna be poking that Bears fan quite a bit, lol.
  23. Things are goin to be much harder for this ballclub in 2004. Firstly the whole team ain't gonna come back and it's gonna be hard for us to be up near the top unless Colon, Buerhle and Loaiza can win at least 50 - 60 games b/w them. Secondly the Indians r gonna be better, watch their young guys develop and they could be a .500 team next year. And even the Tigers can't be as bad as they were this year. Or can they?
  24. Nice to see they're gonna giv Shoe a shot in the rotation for 2004. Another lefty also helps.
  25. Ok I take back my statement. We shouldn't replace the whole makeup of our team but we should cut out da bad links which r holding this team back e.g Valentin and Konerko and replace them with some heart and hustle guys who can get on base e.g Spiezio, Guzman and Eckstein etc. Doubt we'd get 3 prospects for Paulie, but I'd like to ship him off either to the Dodgers or O's for some quality young pitching. Give Wright a chance in da Pen in 2004 and he fails at that, ship him off somewhere. If Ordonez is too expensive to keep around, the Padres and Dodgers will desperately want him and we could get some really good prospects as well.
