  1. Man that's absolutely horrible. U go to a game of Baseball to hav fun and enjoy urself not to get killed. I hope they catch da guy who did this and put him away for life. :dips***

  3. DBAHO replied to a post in a topic in Pale Hose Talk
My god I'm shocked. Too bad Minny's killing da Tiggies. At least Maggs got a homer when it counted most in this game. Is Buerhle gonna stay in there, or is Sully coming in?

C'mon White Sox!!!!! If they don't make the most out of this, any hope that I hav left will be broken.
  5. Yeah at least Fussball is finally back with Baseball closing up for another wasted season. I go for Dallas and they r the complete opposites of the Chicago White Sox. Dallas: Bad Team, Good Coach Chicago W.S: Good Team, Bad Coach. Can JM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ! Fire his ass back down to Florida, so he can get a nice condo down there for his retirement.
  6. I am sorry for believing in our Offence. Biggest 3 games of da season and they all hit more like a little league team than a major league team.
  7. Wilson will be wanting big money after his monster year in Coors. Doubt he'll get it though cos guys like Hollandsowrth have shown they can't hit if they don't play at Coors, so I think he'll stay with da Rockies.
  8. Coming 3rd would be the ultimate insult for the team. Just can't allow it to happen, coming 2nd's bad enough.
  9. U see, the Twins r smarter even though we r more talented. They know to work da count to get the pitch, but our guys like Maggs just swing at the 1st pitch all da time.
  10. Fav Seinfeld episode every1? Mine's the Soup Nazi and the Puerto Rican Day Parade.
  11. If Robbie ain't back in 2004, give Miles da job. THe guy plays hard, hit a double tonight in the 7th and looks like a David Eckstein type. Too bad he can't play SS then we could get rid of Jose and that bloated contrace of his.
  12. Gotta agree wit u on Paulie there. We'll have to get rid of some1 if we want to resign Robbie and Lee and I think he's starting to cool down again. Derrick Lee would be a great fit but he'll be looking for a Paulie style multiyear deal which we just can't offer. Gotta give Ross Gload a little look as well if Daubach doesn't come back either. Also, we only hav 1 guy (Maggs) who bats over .300, how many do Minny hav? That's the difference. Hopefully Wally will light a fire under all of their asses for 2004 although I wouldn't mind seeing Bobby V as well.

I think the main reason Minny is better than us is because of their Batting Average compared to ours. Sure we hit way more runs but they get so many guys on base whether it's through their hitting or drawings walks e.g Loaiza and Garland.
  14. Wouldn't it be nice if JR could do a Vince McMahon and go up to Jerry, end of the last game of the season, in front of a big crowd and tell him "You'rrrrreeeee FIREDDDDDDDDDD!" Cya Jerry, Don't let the door hit ur ass on the way out.
  15. Hey at least their's only 11 games left (I think?) till JM gets canned. As da fan says in my sig he's a "Dead Man Walkin"

I go for my Probationary License down here on Monday afternoon. I've been driving around on my learners with my parents for the last 2 years. I'd luv to hav some White Sox stickers on the back of my car. I'd probably be the only person on Australia who would hav em.
  18. Damn, if only I'd pick my Boys to beat da Giants I'd be back up with da pack. Best game of the season by a mile though so far.

Berman's doin the Florida vs Philly, which unfortunately is the ESPN game on down here and not da Twinkies vs White Sox.

Jon's already thrown more pitches this inning than Rogers did. Take note Sox!!! Work da friggin count.

Yeah great way to show the example there Jerry, get thrown out at the start of the game in the most important game of the season so far.
  24. TAMPA, Fla. (Sept. 16, 2003) -- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers re-signed receiver Charles Lee as a replacement for the injured Joe Jurevicius. The Super Bowl champions also waived tight end Daniel Wilcox and released quarterback Jim Miller from the reserve-physically unable to perform list. Lee, who signed a one-year contract, was released by the Bucs on Aug. 31. He will help fill in for Jurevicius, who tore a ligament in his right knee during Tampa Bay's 12-9 overtime loss to Carolina and will be sidelined four-to-six weeks. Wilcox played in both games this season after returning to the team on Sept. 5. He spent the final two weeks of the 2002 regular season and all three postseason games with Tampa Bay before released this summer. Miller, who's recovering from shoulder surgery, was placed on the reserve-physically unable to perform list in August. The former Chicago and Pittsburgh quarterback also has spent time with Jacksonville and Atlanta during his nine-year career. Hmmm, I wonder if he'll actually ever play again. I actually Dallas (my fav team) looks at picking him up cos if Carter gets hurt I don't want Chad Hutchison who's obviously not ready to play. Parcells had success with Vinny Testaverde and Miller's a very similar QB, although I also read bf that if Kurt Warner is cut by the Rams which is a distinct possibility, Tuna will look at picking him up.

Found this on Foxsports.com Baseball Inside Dish from Ken Rosenthal. The Indians plan to pursue an offensive-minded second baseman such as the Red Sox's Todd Walker, a potential free agent, to compete with Brandon Phillips next season. The White Sox's Tony Graffanino would be another possibility, but White Sox G.M. Ken Williams says he is "dead set" on retaining him. . . . I wonder how much it will take to lock him up?
