Another trade rumor to speculate on here; I think the only possible solution would be a 3 team deal. Something like the Warriors getting Kaman, Orlando getting Ellis, the Hornets getting Redick and Nelson does work cap wise, but picks would need to be added, and I don't think the Hornets would take Nelson, therefore you may have to add another team to get a deal done.

Going to be spending 2 weeks there in late May, can't wait to go back there. For those looking for cheap accomodation out of Manhattan, try the Westin in Newport / Jersey City. You can get the PATH Train from Newport to 33rd Street, which takes about 10-15 mins. Bit of a nightmare at night though, trains only run every half an hour past 12. I'm going to checkout some of the foodie recommendations from here, I was living on Intern's wages the last time I was there so could hardly afford to splurge. If you're after a good burger though, the Burger Joint at the Parker Meridian on W 57th St do an excellent one, highly recommend it.

Sounds like the Magic are going to pursure Steve Nash or Jose Calderon pretty heavily before the deadline and not trade Howard. Imagine we'll probably have to look at Redick + others in a deal, but whether we have the assets to actually pull one off is very doubtful. Nelson, Redick, Justin Harper plus 1st rounders in 2012 and 2014 is the best I can come up with for a Nash + Shannon Brown deal for example.

Felix what's your thoughts on the Pau Gasol to Minny rumors that are floating around right now. Although I read another scenario which I think may make more sense for the T-Wolves, Gasol to Houston, Kevin Martin + something to Minnesota, and the Lakers get some pieces (e.g Dragic + Scola + Beasley? + something), which may work out better for the T-Wolves, especially with the way Pekovic has come on.

I'm pretty much of the opinion it doesn't matter what the Celtics do in the regular season, so long as they're all healthy going into the playoffs. Winning 9 out of 10 after a bad start shows they can pretty much knuckle down and win when they want to do. I think when they play at their best, they're probably still the 3rd best team in the East who can push Chicago or Miami on their day.

So the bank I work for announced they're laying off 1000 more jobs by September, and I haven't been informed that my position is definitely safe after this latest update. I'm starting to think it's time to consider my options again (in terms of trying to look for work in the US again potentially).
