Forget bout Drew, Scott Boras is his agent, he'll definitely get a double figure per year contract I'd think. A leadoff guy like Dave Roberts, or a excellent contact hitter like Frank Catalanotto would be much better options, and allow us to save money for fill more holes or sign a better free agent starter for our rotation.

cw, I know a lot of us here at SoxTalk will miss you. I never saw 1st hand what really happened and such, I don't think many of us did, I tended to stay out of those types of threads and such for my own good. You always seemed like a nice guy and zero's right when he said a lot of the younger posters here (and boy do we hav a lot of em ), consider you to be a father figure of sorts. I hope everything goes well for you in the future.

I think the Giants will get one of either Maggs or Pedro this off-season. Wouldn't Schmidt and Pedro be an insane 1-2 punch though.
