You might need a router, but I think if you read about page 13 or 14 of this thread, there are instructions of how to set up eveything to play on-line.

    NCAA Football 2005

Alex and Jason, found this bout XBOX Live problems they've been having with the game so far; "Xbox Live users may encounter connection and friends lists issues with NCAA Football," read a post from Xbox.com forums moderator Major Nelson. "Both EA and Xbox Live are actively working on resolving the issue as quickly as possible." EA Sports and Microsoft reps contacted by GameSpot said, "Basically, due to the sheer volume of players, we're experiencing some temporary connection issues." GameSpot tested its own copy of NCAA Football 2005 and encountered only minor frame-rate lags--until we were kicked off the servers in the middle of the third quarter. A second game was played without any major problems until its conclusion, when we were again disconnected. Attempts to reconnect to see if the game's result had been recorded were unsuccessful as of press time.
  8. Anderson is definitely the safer prospect, I can't see no reason why he can be in our outfield in the future IF he can stay healthy. Sweeney has a higher ceiling, but it's going to take a while to get to it, if the White Sox can stay patient with him (hey they did with Joe Borchard right?) even if doesn't contribute great numbers, I think he'll be a star. But it depends which option KW is willing to take.
  9. Nice to see I'm still on top, although the 2nd half's going to be very interesting PTC wise.

    NCAA Football 2005

I don't even know if the game's going to come out here or not, we haven't had any past NCAA games down here, although on 1 Aussie website they said it had a release date of July 21, I sure hope so because this game sounds so sweet.
  11. Exactly, well it's either him, Jim Fregosi or Phil Garner.
  12. Bump, Robbie McEwan won again in the green jersey, not sure where Lance finished though.
  13. Legends of the Hidden Temple and GUTS were great shows on Nickelodeon, too bad I haven't seen them on for years now.

    Bonds

I'm guessin only Bonds and Albert Pujols would only probably be able to hit that.

    Jeopardy

Found an article on Ken from down here, US television's seemingly unbeatable answer man - or question man - has passed the $US1 million ($1.38 million) mark on Jeopardy!. Ken Jennings, a whip-smart software engineer from Salt Lake City, won his 30th straight contest on the syndicated game show, in an episode televised yesterday. That brought his earnings to $US1,004,960. He has long since blown past the previous record for a Jeopardy! contestant, excluding special tournaments. Tom Walsh of Washington, DC, set that record of $US184,900 over seven days last northern winter. In his month-long run, Mr Jennings has provided more than 1000 correct questions. Jeopardy contestants are provided the answer, and must reply in the form of a question. Mr Jennings, 30, has shown few knowledge gaps in his march to millionaire status. He was a member of Brigham Young University's College Bowl team in the 1990s, and he edits literature questions for the National Academic Quiz Tournament. At the start of its 20th season last fall, Jeopardy! changed its long-time rule that said a champion must leave after five straight wins. Now a player stays on the show until losing. The only suspense obn Monday was in whether Jennings would beat the single-day Jeopardy!record of $US52,000 in winnings, which he had tied twice. He seemed poised to do so, but proved he was fallible. He had to name the two years, five years apart, where The New York Times first used 96-point type for headlines marking historical events. Mr Jennings answered 1996 and 2001. The correct response: 1969, when man landed on the moon, and 1974, when President Nixon resigned. He will be back to try again.
  16. From ESPN, There could be a hitch in the deal that would send Los Angeles Lakers center Shaquille O'Neal to the Miami Heat, and it's called Lamar Odom. ESPN's Stephen A. Smith has learned there is an issue with Odom's contract that could affect the finalization of the trade to send Shaq to Miami for Odom, Caron Butler, Brian Grant and a first-round pick. Odom's contract calls for a 15 percent "trade kicker," which means in the case Odom were dealt to another team, he would be due an extra 15 percent on his contract. In this case, that amount would total between $8.5 million and $9.5 million, in addition to the approximate $55 million remaining on Odom's current contract. Smith reports that the issue does not appear to be a deal-breaker but will require some additional attention to detail. Apparently, the Lakers were not aware of the clause in Odom's contract at the time that they agreed to the trade with Miami. When reached by phone Tuesday night, the Lakers would not comment on the specifics of the issue. O'Neal agreed to the trade last Saturday, but it cannot be completed until, at the earliest, Wednesday, when a two-week leaguewide moratorium on trades and free-agent signings expires. Last season, O'Neal averaged a career-low 21.5 points with 11.5 rebounds and 2.48 blocks. Over 12 seasons, he has averaged 27.1 points, 12.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks.
  17. With the success of Shingo and Antoni Otsuka of the Padres, he's definitely worth a look, but the main thing with Japanese players is whether or not they want to come over here and play.
  18. At least they're both lefties. I think Beltran will go to the Dodgers, Giants or the Padres, they both could use an outfielder like him.
  19. Beltran's not going to sign a deal with us no matter how much we offer, we don't negotiate with Scott Boras. He's going to the Yanks for 8 years $150 million, you can book it.
  20. That was just off the top of my head, Upton's going to be a great player, but he might have to play in the outfield if his fielding at shortstop doesn't pick up. McPherson and Wright is pretty much a WASH, McPherson probably has more power potential though.
  21. Travis Blackley's from down here, lived bout 20 mins from my house actually. There was a big article in the paper down here after his debut, scouts down here thought he could be the best Aussie in the major leagues we've had, which is not too shabby at all considering we've had Dave Nilsson from the Brewers who had a nice career. Hernandez easily best pitching prospect right now, David Wright is probably the best postion prospect if I had to pick one.
  22. Unless we are the Cleveland Indians and decide to give up all of our best prospects, that ain't gonna happen. We'll get 1 of those guys at the MOST.
  23. Rumors today have been flying around with Nomar going to the Cubs or White Sox. Pretty stupid deal though, why would we need Nomar when we've got Jose Valentin, who comes far cheaper, and is better in the clutch.
  24. Not way Houston's goin to settle for Jon Rauch for Carlos Beltran. They gave up Dotel, and 2 good prospects for him. Beltran would be a luxury we can't really afford. I'd rather go after a good arm for the bullpen (Luis Ayala, Brian Fuentes etc.), and another good quality starter.
