Glad to see that, for sure. Greg should apply for it for funsies.- ChiSox @ BoSox, 6/26, 12:05 CT
Moncada should always be second. Period.- Is Tim Anderson destined for a corner OF spot?
@Real: Well, something bad might have happened, best go to soxtalk.com and take out my failing marriage on the message board. Soxtalk:- ChiSox @ BoSox, 6/25, 6:10 CT, NSCH
Does Abreu have any value?- ChiSox @ BoSox, 6/25, 6:10 CT, NSCH
Particularly if Anderson is healthy, I agree. I just wonder how desperate a fringe team that thinks they're close would get.- ChiSox @ BoSox, 6/25, 6:10 CT, NSCH
Noob gotta noob.- Anderson leaves game with apparent injury
Spoken like someone who hasn't had a bad ankle sprain before. Moncada would have done the same exact thing. That was some scary shit.- ChiSox @ BoSox, 6/25, 6:10 CT, NSCH
Bring him back after the break.- ChiSox @ BoSox, 6/25, 6:10 CT, NSCH

- Bulls/White Sox Free Agency Status
I can only assume you don't follow basketball at all based on this post. Chicago is not a sought after market in the NBA. Chicago is a crappy place to live during the NBA season. "the despite lack of success" bullshit doesn't fly either. The Bulls were very, very good for a long time before Paxson decided (rightly) to blow it up.- Bulls/White Sox Free Agency Status
So basically the answer to this question is: they have nothing in common with each other.- The $$$$ will be spent!
It's an old-timey theory about LH vs RH which at this point is basically superstition.- Bulls/White Sox Free Agency Status
It's difficult to draw any comparisons between two different sports which play in opposite seasons with completely different spending models. The Bulls face difficulties outside of their own organization - NBA FAs signing with Chicago have to live in Chicago during the winter and the team does not currently have any superstars yet. The White Sox play in a league where spending big is king but it's also a chance to really screw up your franchise. There isn't a "cap" per se but their is a limited amount of money most teams are willing to spend. I know this thread is a total fish for us to continue complaining about Reinsdorf, but it's not really a fair comparison. The NBA is a really tough business and the White Sox simply were called on their bluff for Manny Machado.- Is Ricky the worst manager in White Sox history?
If you have to put a bunch of qualifiers on it, why ask the question? "Is Ricky the worst of the last 5 managers except Ventura?" I mean, who cares?- Let's talk Eloy hitting cleanup
Maybe, but remember the leadoff guy and second guy should be OBP guys first. Their job in a configuration like the one I was bringing up was not to drive in runs. They exist almost entirely to get on base. So theoretically you want your three worst guys to bat before the top of the order because the top of the order gets on base. - The $$$$ will be spent!
